DBC14 PC Version Mod Screenshots

Perhaps try this:
  1. Back up your original kit template
  2. Try opening a new file of 1024x1024 in size at 96 pixels per inch.
  3. Then make the whole layer of the new file transparent
  4. Copy the entire transparent layer
  5. Paste into a new layer over your kit template.
  6. Save the file and try on DBC14
Please keep in mind I haven't yet had a chance to have a detailed look at it yet.

Hope it works though.

I think I got there... I was still using a different pattern, but I switched to the one you suggested (should have listened the first time, right? ;)) by using the existing 4th colour and adding an additional stripe for the 2nd colour, it seems to have worked and there don't seem to be issues getting the other shapes on that pattern.

just checking vests/jumpers etc.

really appreciate the pointers.

Excellent and you're welcome.

I look forward to seeing what you have done.

Just about to upload the 90's Test Kits.

amended Aus kit - huge thanks to @quincy159

will upload the rebel tour pack now.

Was just checking them out, they are excellent. Absolutely love the MCC one especially having Tetley Bitter - that's the kit I grew up with!!

Thanks for the feedback it's greatly appreciated. You will notice that in the "sponsors" folder an "AUS XXXX" folder. It has the XXXX brewery sponsorship for Australia for the 1993 Ashes tour, just for anyone who wished to re-create that series. I would like to see a "Ball of the Century" screenshot.

I have had a look at your pack as well. Awesome top quality work, I really look forward to playing through those tours.

Isn't it a strange fact that despite the controversy surrounding the 'Rebel' tours they were still awarded 'First Class' status by the ICC, when nearly 40 years later the ICC still will not acknowledge the records over 50 players involved in World Series Cricket. Any of those players would have made their respective Test or ODI teams of the time. A touch of hypocrisy perhaps?

The C07 virus is spreading... We need 50 young boys and 1 girl and a large maze! Go Go Go!

yeah the WSC one in particular is ridiculous - the guys who played that will say it's the hardest cricket they ever played...

WSC was gonna be my next ones after playing the Rebel Tours but I may have to do some 90s Tests now! Maybe stick my England Worst XI in the MCC kit and take on the Aussie 90s!

I've seen your England Worst XI in the Academy. Interesting concept, I can see Ladbrokes offering England 500-1 to win a game. Mind you the last time they did that England won the game thanks to a useful cricketer called Ian Botham aided by Bob Willis and Rod Marsh and his old mate Dennis Lillee became 7,500 pounds richer!:facepalm

In my profession, we call that justice!

The worst XI I made during the wait for release when I expected to be a lot better at this game - had a plan to beat an Aussie side composed of all the ones who thrashed us between 89-2003. Never got good enough to try it out!!

Will be fun to give it a go with the Tetley & XXXX kits!

I look forward to hearing of the result. I'll get my 5 quid on England now!

I know some time ago I agreed to start work on the 99 World Cup Kits. I have made progress although I am having issues with some of the limitations regarding the sleeves of kits.

On Saturday though my teenage son asked me if I could make some Test kits from the 1990's, as he has been watching some of my highlights DVDs of the period.

Here they are, complete with vests, jumpers and sponsors of the time. I know that some of the teams had a number of different sponsors during the 1990s, so if you have a particular favourite, I'm happy to make it for you.

Keep in mind some countries still use the jumpers, so if anyone wishes to use my kits as a benchmark for other kits you are of course welcome to do so.

You can find the pack in the Downloads section.

It's incredible what a difference having the correct vest pattern makes

I agree. I made the Australian kit some time ago for my own use and it was a bit rough so I never uploaded it. After my son's request I decided to tidy it up a bit and do the rest of the nations of the era. Even without the sponsors, I believe that these kits would be useful for anyone wishing to re-create and play first class teams, even clubs from around the world.
