Lunch Break Day 1

Worcestershire 4/79
Hick 32 (52) no
Laws 3/12

Lunch here on day one, the first session was clearly dominated by Derbyshire until Hick and Smith started a short lived fight back which was ended last ball of the session by Balaji. Chris Laws bowled with passion this morning as he got the ball to move around off the green wicket, he picked up the top three batsmen in a damaging early spell. Some brilliant fielding and catching by the home side really put pressure on Worcestershire, a special mention to left arm finger spinner Steve Moore who took three great catches. Moore hasn't bowled a ball yet and is not really likley to here in the first innings but being a great team player he always gives 110% in the field.

Looks like it could be a long day for worcester unless someone can step up....
