Derbyshire v Warwickshire at Derby
Welcome to Derby here for the Totesport oneday match between Derbyshire and Warwickshire. The skys are blue and the temperature mild as we prepare for the toss of the coin. The pitch looks to be a little on the green side and should offer the bowlers a bit of assistance during the day.
Well it looks as though Warwickshire have won the toss and have elected to bowl. As we look through the team changes, it appears Calum Chances mid season contract talks with Gloustershire could have cost him a spot in the team today as Derbyshire have elected to play specialist bowler Rameez (Karachi express). Mike Atherton caught up with Derbyshire Captain Richie Roberts who strongly denied Chance was dropped because of the Gloustershire fiasco, but put it down to wanting an extra seamer for this pitch. He then went on to say Calum needs to make a decision about his future and he would be under no pressure from Derbyshire.
Lets join the umpires and players in the middle for the start of the action.
