Kohli has been looking very good with the bat of late, in saying that he has averaged 50 or so in his last five matches in ODI's. He is by far one of our most promising batsman and at the moment he is really proving that he is a notch above Raina and Rohit Sharma.

KKD also played a good knock and if he can keep on being consistent with the bat then maybe he could just might earn himself a spot in the side, but that is quite unlikely at this stage as the competition in our batting department is quite high at the moment. But really I don't see why Karthik can't stay in the ODI side, he can almost bat anywhere whether it be opening or middle order and not to mention he ain't a half bad fielder and he also gives Dhoni a chance to have a break with the gloves during a match/series or when he decides to have a bowl.

Good thing about Kohli doing better is no Rohit Sharma.

Need to find bowler though rather than batsman.
