You are right but the reason is I haven't had even the glimpse of Cricket academy as I am facing Black screen issue and the only way is getting a copy of the game when it gets released....And that too this game is too much tempting....

Best thing to do is concentrate on other awesome games in the market, come back to this site in a week and see if anything revealed !! This wait is killing

I really don't know much about the marketing but I think Ross is waiting for ASHES 2013 to fail their release date promises for the 2nd time.
See when it failed for the first time and announced a delay on the date of release. About 30% of the potential customers lost hope in them including many of us.
Now they promised a July release. And the rest 70% either with crossed fingers or Head in their buttock hoping they can just wait one more month and there is no problem with that.
When they will fail that too. Again another 30% will step aside.
And the rest 40%? I bet they don't know about BIG ANT CRICKET 14 yet.
When the ASHES will fail to release the game in JULY it will be the perfect time to start Marketing to get at least 30% of the gamers from the remaining 40%.
And really who gives a f$*@ about 10% of the ASHES avid fans??
Just talking about PROBABILITIES not POSSIBILITIES.

With the power of Cricket Academy I think its better not to get a license and have some restrictions imposed on the created players.

Spot on... Even I'll go for a game with unlicensed teams, giving us the power to create players and customize things without any restrictions... After all how much mileage will you get with those English and Aussie licensed players? They'll have to be replaced some day. Longevity is very important for cricket games. You can update rosters and stuff by patching, but the ability to customize stuff will always be better than that.

They told Cricket Australia some BS about Cricket Academy potentially containing elements that are owned by Cricket Australia.

I expect more dirty tricks as they are definitely going to miss the Ashes 2013 series.

I can see you're pissed about this Ross. If they don't release this English ashes why don't you beat them to the punch. P.s could you release by mid August if you wanted to or to close. P.s just asking for some light on the big plan not a 100% release date.
