You need to uninstall the current version and install the new one provided in the link in the new thread.

Strongly suggest doing a back up of saved files before installing.

I'm assuming the new version is just a bug fix release? Nothing dramatically new but a back up would be worthwhile.

Maybe backup, always a good idea but it should do that automatically.

I think you also should be able to install over the top without uninstalling.
