I never understand trolling. Especially trolling things that are obviously incorrect and the the only possible outcome for the troll is mega Egg-on-face

I think its more of a case of frustration. Its like a rabbit trying to catch the dangling carrot.

I understand that its a business decision, but everyone defending these moves should also keep in mind that this has been going on for a few months.

The EB games photo Ross posted is kinda making me negative too. means that it might be pushed out more. Again, not blaming Ross, as he needs to make the best long term decision. Just saying being aggressive towards the people who are frustrated is not fair either.

Yeah we are all frustrated but different levels, crap I feel different each day and I bet others do also. Sometimes I can wait and other times I want to say to Ross come on just let us have are xmas present early please.

PS Now for Goose man above, he is not 100% wrong till we get a date and by that I mean what would Ross do if Ashes 2013 says December 15 tomorrow for release.
1. release as fast as you can or 2. 2014. Still like others I believe Ashes 2013 is not coming this year, next year or cancelled but I have no proof Ross.

It IS coming out in 2013 though... How many times do you need

EB games also recieved marketing kits this week with "coming 2013"...
Allowing these to go out after whats happened with Ashes this year would be pretty ridiculous.

but 79 is right. after all the shenanigans trying to get perfect timing, if e.g. ross was planning to release Dec 12th, and Ashes came out and said we're releasing Dec 7th, that would have to give them pause for thought... i don't know what the outcome would be, but it would at least create the possibility of the 2013 slipping - in exactly the same was as before October slipped, because circumstances would have changed.

it's highly unlikely, but it's not as simple as saying "it's 2013" - it's 2013, under prevailing conditions... remember it wasn't so long ago "we will release before AC13" became "every day that passes increases the likelihood" DBC will release before AC. It doesn't mean the first statement was a lie, it just means things changed.

AC somehow managing to release, and releasing before DBC would put a spanner in the works. I don't know why some people can't get their head around that.

Yes this is pretty much the way I feel about it too. The point I'm trying to make is that there's a lot of aggression towards each other on this forum, and I must say its painful to read through.

Like many on here, people are frustrated because we are all being teased. Someone posts their frustration and they get attacked. Why can't we all just get along..

I agree with that. The October thing though was a little mischievous originally wasnt it?
I know Ross may get a little cranky when we talk about this stuff when we dont necessarily understand the finer points and behind the scenes stuff but i reckon you just back your product to be better than the other guys and be confident it will win out. At the end of the day the Ashes delays got loads of people off side and angry because of the pre-orders.
IF DB14 is delayed till next year only us tragics here will be mildly annoyed.
Frustrated or not there is a line between being a dick and just being frustrated
But need we look any further than the undoubtedly accurate poll atop this thread?

Getting along has been hard on here mate I agree with that, even Ross sometimes I love the guy and other times I want to throw a chicken(cooked) at him.

PS The Ashes starts next week, meaning Trickstar and the Kitchen men should release something soon but who knows even master Yoda can't see Mike Fegan's next move. PS Wait maybe Mike is a Sith Lord, under are noses all this time.

To keep any hopes of a relationship going the last thing I will be doing is showing her any cricket game videos. Should the need arise to end something however......

Hehe. Yup. My friends are showing their frustration towards me, because they don't follow these threads. I've stopped giving them information because of this.

Also I've bought two games I wasn't planning on, due to expecting the game to release earlier. Expensive game for me so far.

Anyways, I'm holding thumbs for Ashes to not release this year, only so that we don't have to wait so long anymore.

Adriankuiper, Yeah mate I know how you feel, I have a couple of friends that love cricket games but hate forums for the reasons we all know.

Last time I said something about the game was late last week after showing them the videos, they loved them after we got past the few faults that are easy to see. One of them said to me when is this Ross fellow just going to stop pissing around and release the game.

If I can enjoy stick cricket, I'm sure I will be able to enjoy Ashes 20??. It will only be used for batting in any case.
