If there is a Cricket Academy update next week, it's hard to see how that update would be in a game released this year for console, unless it's already in the console current version and/or day zero patch and not in PC, but that at least seems a little unlikely.

More important than all this nonsense...

Cake No.1 Baby!

Perhaps he's angling for Ross to release it this year to prove him wrong.

Maybe that is thefonz's ploy? Considering he keeps banging on about how unethical and misleading Big Ant would be if they don't release the game this year. A bit of reverse psychology perhaps?

They are trying to release the game worldwide at
the same time...So the logistics and distribution of
the game to each country is taking time so they
are not able to announce the release date.....

Presumably he's waiting until the Aussies have won the Ashes to announce it. Won't be long. :noway

Well so far it seems everything is working in favour of DBC14. Aussies are doing damn well in the current Ashes series which ensures that even if Ross releases the game in Jan, it would get similar (I say similar since Jan can never be compared to the sales that can be generated during the Christmas season) interest in the Australian market atleast.

It's not just about the Australian market. If Australia wins the Ashes series which they most likely will, the interest at the time for cricket games would go down in the UK so it doesn't make any sense either way, it'd be the same story for the Australian market if England were to win so releasing the game while the Ashes series is still burning would be more profitable in terms of enthusiasm of the fans and besides Christmas is intervening before the Ashes ends so the stage is perfectly set for release at the end of this month.

Holidays spirit! oh yeah...
