Fear not, I've figured it all out.

The disks have simply not reached our green and pleasant land yet. Firstly, because we are much further away from Australia, and secondly, because there are so many copies of DBC14 on board the cargo ship (it is literally full to the brim) that the ship's top speed has been reduced.
