Oh you mean the bar staff. Yeah they've been known to water the pitch after closing time with the contents of the spills tray. I guess they could be referred to as ground staff.
I remember our season 1 training camp was in Antigua and it's possible they got some ideas from the local bartenders.
Incidentally at this rate of posting I'm going to have to come out of retirement!
I thought that was simply being flexible and contributing to our profit base.
The grounds staff themselves are fine mixers of drinks. I particularly like their citrus infused sloe gin with tonic launched over a bed of chipped ice.
