I'm leaving. I'll hand in my resignation letter by Friday. Clearly the Donkeys aren't what they used to be anymore.

We win one lousy comp and people think we've broken a tradition. I'm afraid that teh lure of riches must have blinded us in the final. I also believe that our opponents were paid more to lose. That could be the only explanation.

I see this as being just a minor hiccup. Sure, our form was surprising but I believe the basis of our team's success, donkeyism, is still strong but may have also affectyed other teams. The simple fact is that everyone wants to be like us, to be us. In this fishbowl world of internet cricket we are the most watched, most loved and up until now, worst performed. Others wanting a taste of our success have copied us.
Fear not fellow donks, we can reassert our True Donkeyism in the next season. Now back to the yacht. We have some sorrow to drown.
