England In India - October 2011/12

Varun Aaron rips apart the tailenders!! Has looked better then Umesh Yadav tbh.

3 Wickets good economy of 3.89 and superb display of fast bowling. Hope selectors are watching this and give this man with Yadav a go for lot more time and not go back to stupid nehra and munafs and sreesanths :p

Good thing about both Yadav and Aaron was that they both were hovering over 140 mark. Unlike some other Indian Bowlers who touch 140 once a while in 2 or 3 overs. Aaron seems to have decent control. I expected him to be a bit more wayward.

Thank god Aaron finally got a game, good to see him pick up a few wickets towards the end.

Against Spin, England players play only two short Slog Sweep and then Slog Sweep..
If they keep playing like this, then they won't be able to bat 50 overs in most game..

India need a Good Leg Spinner Now, thats the only thing that india is missing right now..

Well, I think Mishra is the best leg spinner in the world right now. His problem is that he is slow, and therefore not that effective in Tests. In ODIs, and T20s, when the batsmen go after him he has the ability to pick up a heap of wickets.

India chasing again. :D

Varun has done well enough in his ODI debut picking up 3 wickets in and E/R of 3.89
Ashwin picked.

Just 220 in Indian tracks is not enough, India can easily chase this today.

FTR, the upcoming World Cup is to be staged in Australia & New Zealand, where you quite don't need to play 'spin bowling' well to win matches.

r u joking.... Australia is a place of Leg Spinners..

Let me sharp your memories..

England lost 3 Wickets to leg spinner in world cup final in Australia against Pakistan..
The batsman which got out were

Gooch (ur No.1 Opener)
Hick (ur top middle order batsman)
Reeve (bowler)

ya he is good but my Fav is Piyush Chawla. Even Sangakkara rates him one of the best leg spinner.. (when Sanga used to play for Kings XI).
The only thing with piyush is lack of confidence and he tries to turn ball too much..

Really? :rolleyes 'Cause the current Australian ODI team that's stacked with a bunch of pace batteries coupled with one or two odd offies would suggest otherwise. Not to mention the number of leggies available at the international stage can be counted with fingers.

Just because they don't have spinners.. thats why they keep playing steve smith because he is the best leg spinner left in there country..
On those hard pitches, leg spinner gets lot of turn... A team which will have Good Leg-Spinner is going to have huge advantage as leg spinner are wicket takers..

To be frank for england batsman, a ordinary spinner is good enough ..

We were talking about leg spinner, Steve Smith gets wicket of G. Smith..
