England In India - October 2011/12

Disagree. If anyone starts to get mouthy towards an England player, they all tend to give it back, win or lose. Just look at the Ashes in Australia, it was exactly the same then. As I said, if Raina kept his mouth shut, nothing would be said to him. But batting or fielding, he keeps it open and keeps complaining about something, so he gets that response.

If you can't take it, don't give it and expect Dhoni to come to your rescue every time. Simple as that.

I dont think it was Raina who started this. English bowler started this from the 1st ODI and then only he started. Which was wrong on his part. I wont defend him. There is no place of sledging on cricket field. We might as well start allowing physical contact as well then. It was a gentleman's game and this kind of language has no place in it. Two wrong doesnt make a right.
Whenever Raina did it he was wrong too. But England has been found doing it more often.

lol. I was busy in my lappy when they showed that. I thought it was live. Still it was wrong:D

Again, it wouldn't happen if there was nothing to provoke it. You lot seem to think an Indian player can get mouthy at an England player and the other 10 on the field are just going to let it happen. Not a chance. Team spirit.

Raina, or Kohli ran straight at Finn when running a two and then Raina complained because Finn didn't jump out of his way. That's what started it. You're telling me that's not stupid? Raina wants to start it, he has to take it. He needs to grow up if he wants to get mouthy and then cry when he gets it back. End of story.

But not in the Spirit of the game. If it was so bad to draw such an extreme reaction from Finn, Why didnt he complained to umpire when Raina did it whatever you accuse him of doing it.

Oh, dear god, get this through your head. Finn didn't complain, Raina did. Anyone who complains over nothing gets a negative reaction from who they complain at, that's life. So he wanted to shout at Finn, so Finn shouted back at him when he got him out. I don't see a problem with that. Raina gives it, Raina gets it back. Finn gets it, Finn gives it back. I have no problem with that. But it seems you and the Indian team do and want to complain to the umpires. I don't get it.

It would be like me calling you an idiot, you calling me an idiot back and them me complaining and reporting you for it. Which I'm sure we'll both agree is crazy.

I'm not saying what Raina did was right. But i dont agree with Finn's reaction as well. Both of them were wrong and i dont wanna see that again on a cricket field but unfortunately it will happen again.

I must have missed you criticizing the Indian players then, when you were vilifying the England ones. Funny that.

And if you don't want to see signs of a competitive game, may I point you towards Chess, or perhaps Tiddly-Winks, much more to your taste, I'm sure.

There ;)

Oh yes, how brave of you to say that after blaming the England players for starting it and therefore being the reason for it happening. :rolleyes

Also it took what, 6 posts or something to finally say that?

I watch cricket for good competition between bat and ball. Players using their skills instead of mouth. If i was interested in watching people foul mouthing each other, I'll better watch Momma jokes on MTV:p

Why would I say it's wrong? It's not. It's two players showing passion for the game. All I said was that if players want to do that, they have to be willing to accept it. Personally, I'm all for it and feel Umpires step in too much. Cricket games should be a mental battle every part as much as a physical one, especially Test cricket. It's what makes the great players great. The one's that can be surrounded by 11 players, with comments flying all day and still prevail.

Kiesy having a chat with Kohli. I guess he's asking about whereabouts of his Chocolate which Swann stole from his room.
