Teh lolz. It's a far better format than this dross. One Day cricket was created for the fans, that was the whole point of it, but it has failed to move forward with the game, T20 is now there for the fans, ODI cricket is in this limbo position that the ICC has no clue how to deal with. The revised powerplay conditions don't work. The only way ODI cricket is going back to what it used to be will be 40 overs. Because it works, it's so much better than the middle overs where it just gets tedious.
As for England's failings. It's not really got anything to do with the domestic structure, we play too much T20, but that's about it. The selection is the biggest factor and quite frankly it's failed. We also lack the world class all-rounder since Freddie hung up his boots. The players not playing near their best is indicative of personal failings and the stretched international structure.

Anyway, apart from those last few overs, where Dhoni showed why he is one of the best at what he does. Which can happen to any team. I thought we did well. Finn was superb, Meaker was good until that last over or two. Bresnan was better and Patel could have had even better figures.
