Also, why you guys can't just get along? I visit this section rarely, but everytime I do go through an India vs *any team* thread, all I see is condescending posts by Indian fans towards others.

We don't just post sparking posts because we want fights in here or want to insult anyone but there is a limit that if you cross it then its not the anger that makes you write those posts but its the ambition of proving the other wrong. Everytime there is a talk about India being number one then one topic comes up which is "the rankings are flawed". What the fish is this all about? They are wrong because India is holding the number one spot? I mean just accept it that they are number 1 as we are not saying that other teams suck compared to India. No they don't suck and they are as good as them but rankings show that India is a better side than them at the moment. This is the major problem with some people. They don't appreciate Indian team winning and performing good in a match. They just look for a chance to criticize them. Until this keeps going, there will be such posts in this thread for sure. The best way to end this is to accept what the truth is and instead of criticizing other teams, appreciate their efford in their win.

Credit where credit's due. Sobi's last much-remarked post was entirely reasonable. We had been getting on quite well (for nearly a whole page!) before Varun's mistimed post...and we still are.

It wasn't so much that post but the posts previous that were tinged with the all too common patriotic India vs the world slant which seems to repeatedly crop up around these parts. One of the main reasons that this forum has slowly slackened off to how it is these days.

It shouldn't be difficult to be able to disagree with someone in an acceptable manner. Even if someone thinks Namibia are the best side in the world, does that give you the right to tell them they are an idiot (or worse)?
Be tactful. It's a vital part of any discussion, be it internet based on in the real world. You can attack the opinion, but not the person behind the opinion.
This is going to be a massive series and one that should be enjoyed, between two of the strongest sides in the world. I cannot wait. Lets make the most out of it and get rid of the petty squabbling.

Yes leave this and why are you all guys cursing Sobi? Look at his post on top of the page, he was ready to finish this argument from his side and everything was alright and then suddenly this Mark guy comes up yet again with a stupid video and it starts again. Anyways, I am not here to take anyone's side, I know that Sobi was very aggressive in some of his argument but now just finish it and get over with it. So hope all of you enjoy the series and good luck to both teams.
