Pietersen been saying a lot of negative and stupid things in the media. I'm starting to get sick of hearing it to be honest. He's complaining on a daily basis basically. I'm starting to think he's a self-absorbed dickhead.

You've only just started thinking that? It's been pretty much common knowledge for a while. But I don't care because he's our self-absorbed dickhead.

With Pietersen and Flintoff both in doubt, it spells trouble. I suppose Bell will be the man who comes in and if they're both injured I suppose Rashid would come in as well since he's the back-up all rounder in the squad.

BBC SPORT | Cricket | England | Flower impresses ECB chief Morris

FFS. Hugh Morris is a moron. How he can claim Flower's done a good job is beyond me. I'll let Strauss off because he's scored alot of runs, but Flower's done nothing. We've won 2 games, 1 was due to Dyson not being able to read, and the other was a good performance. So 1 good performance on a tour, and Morris wants to give him the job full time. It's mental.

I'm not going to blame it on Flower because the fact is it's a crap team with 2 good players. One plays about half the games and the other spends more time looking at himself in the mirror than practising.

Team needs to stop looking elsewhere.

Yep Sureshot is a spamming dick :p.

The team itself and the coach should share the blame here. The team have put in half hearted performances and not looked like they wanted to win. Flower hasn't been assertive enough as a coach either though.

That's the thing though, it's not a crap team. Strauss has shown his class, Pietersen's one of the best in the world, Collingwood's churning out consistently fantastic performances in Test cricket, Bopara's got a heck of alot of talent, Prior's batting probably better than any other keeper in Test cricket, Broad's starting to show his talent at Test level, Anderson's been class, Swann's been superb in his time in the Test side, Harmison's bowled far better than the press have led us to believe and even Panesar bowled well in that final Test match.

We've got a good enough team, with a strong wealth of talent in England and should have beaten the West Indies, and I think with a good coach we would have beaten them. We needed someone to show abit of authority and stop England batting on for 500 at the ARG, someone that would have supported the inexperienced captain, just didn't happen.

I've not been impressed with Flower at all, just seems to be doing exactly the same and saying exactly the same as Moores. We need a better coach, who's going to get the guys playing better cricket, simple as. Offer Mickey Arthur as much money as he wants and get him in.

I am not in the petal camp either, i would be happy if Mickey Arthur got the job, although that seems unlikely in the short term. As long as anyone else accept Flower gets it, ill be happy.

It wouldn't surprise me if the ECB offer it to him however, probably because there are no big name available.

Maybe it will come down to the next game, win, he gets the job, lose and he doesn't.

If thats the case, ill be cheering on the windies come friday. :D

Graham Thorpe said the amount of talent is the same in England as in Australia it is just the talent is managed better down under. It is maximised then utilised. The problem with us is we see talent and play them before the talent has been maximised and the player suffers for it. We need an astute coach who will want to build a consistent team with good spirit but who will not be afraid to make changes if they are needed. Arthur might be that man when you think about it.

Ok guys reporting from St. Lucia. Its 5:30 am and its raining cats and dogs here. I am hoping that we can get a full 50 overs match today. We should be able to, but atm the weather is pretty bleak...
