Just for the record, it's a lovely scorching day here in sunny St.Helens.

looking like its going to rain here in London, not that warm either but better than what it was a few days ago.

with the delay the game will probably be shorted by 5-6 overs so the WI wont have that much time to play around. is the batting powerplay still available? wasn't up from the beginning.

Pleasantly suprised that we've been able to haul things back as usually we get bashed around after a start like that. Mascheranas has impressed me alot on this tour economical bowling and a handy hitter for down the order.

Sunny up here in Lancashire :)

And I really do like Mascheranas, not only because he plays for Hampshire, but he's also perfect for England. He's economical usually, and can take wickets. Batting wise, closest we've got to Gayle I think.

Thats not out! Ok it is, shouldn't be however. I suppose it makes up for Gayle's LBW.

Cracking ball that from Stu. Lol at Nassers little signal for 6 in the background.

Hope Freds ok. Would be a terrible shame if he missed the IPL.

Does Broad not like Bravo or something? It was a ball filled with aggression and the thought of cleaning him out.

Fred popping pills, i'm sure he'll be fine.

Hopefully play will resume quickly, because I would like to see a finish to this match.

The cut-off time is 20.30 GMT, which is one hour from now. It is being said that play will resume at 19.50 GMT.

Doesn't look like we're going to get back on anytime soon :( We'll have a good chance if it's reduced to 20 overs though I think, West Indies total is definitely below par!

Nice of the weather to make an appearance when we least need it. Where were you on Friday? Mind the game was probably over too early for it too do anything.

The rain's stopped apparently, and now it's just a race against time to get things started. It's moving east, and the skies are looking better in the distance. If we get back on, England will have 20 overs to get 135. Should be gettable.

It would appear that Strauss can be a quick scorer at the top of the innings, this is a great over thus far 17 so far!
