England tour of Pakistan - 7 T20Is, 3 Tests

Imagine waking up early only to run and bowl on this dead pitch. I'd go hide like Jimmy seems to be doing on occasion here.

I see that they're now trying to turn Leach into whatever South Africa did with Maharaj when they toured us. He's going to injure his shoulder in a couple of days isn't he...
He bowled 70 overs v West Indies. The pitch is awful there's not much that can be done I don't think. No Wood is a problem, but I think him banging it in at 90+ isn't going to be much good for his body anyway, so it's probably for the best.

Wood is very lucky to have missed this game in hindsight. I'd even send him home if the rest of the tour has similar pitches. :lol

Didn't know that Leach had that kind of endurance in him. It's extremely valuable having a holding spinner who can send down as many overs as you want in this spin devoid era.

The fact Livingstone seems to be injured doesn't help either. There's a good chance we might see some Harry Brook and find out what Zak Crawley bowls.

Had no idea Livo was injured. Time to load up the Brrok bowling machine in that case.

According to Ian Ward on SKY, Ollie Robinson has been off all afternoon too.

Looks Livingstone's knee might have gone again.

That's two bowlers down.
This was the rambos master plan. First get them sick so they can't play, if they somehow manage to get to the field, prepare roads so they tire themselves out and their bowlers who aren't used to the conditions start falling apart.

5D chess from Rambo

Good thing that the bulbs aren't working at this stadium.

I like the part where he got Imam to turn into prime Hanif.

75 overs bowled yesterday
77 overs bowled today

I think to avoid these situations the game can begin 30 mins early in order to maximize the overs bowled out in a day. I am talking about the normal start of a day's play and not extra half an hour provided at the end of the day.

One of the worse pitches ever! Remind me of the roads they made India for Sachin to score 100s

As a great Canadian legend Lance Storm one said

I'm usually the first one to defend the ground staff, but this is just bad. I mean, unacceptable levels bad. You would think after the Australian series they would've had a talk with the curator and made drastic changes.

And now they're saying it will be the same field for the New Zealand, maybe they should consider changing venues if that's the case
