England tour of South Africa - 2019-20

This was from a Cricinfo article. If this had been any other tour, I'd say it was made up:

During training the coach, Chris Silverwood - who claimed his only Test five-for here 20 years ago, bowling at a pace (around 95 mph) that would impress even Archer - narrowly missed a collision with a fork-lift truck.

Let’s look on the bright side though. A 4-0 defeat should hopefully cause Root to drop the captaincy. Burns takes over for Sri Lanka and for the subsequent future. We get rid of the white ball shitters like bairstow, Buttler etc etc. Recall Foakes. Future looks bright.

But because it’s England cricket it’s likely absolutely none of that will happen. Happy days eh.

If Zak Crawley gets out for six or less in the second innings, he finishes the match with a first-class average of under 30.

Someone please get Chris Dent on a plane

Someone have a word with Dom Sibley about the height of his stumps please. Played like he thought they were 5 foot tall there

Where would England be without Benny? Probably losing an Ashes series 4-0 one imagines....

Stokey playing on his back foot, probably trying to set up a fancy stroke. One cannot premeditate shots on this pitch, if you do; you'll find yourself wanting :p

Oh my just When you thought it couldn't get worse:

small comfort: Broad has nearly reached double figures for the series with his batting: things are on the up!
