That was some innings from Prithvi Shaw on a very greenish track , its now upto the other Batsmen to show some solidity in the middle.

definitely played too many shots and fell int the short ball trap, despite a very good counter attack

There was no need to take on the bowling so close to Tea - 170/4 going into lunch would have been a million times better than 194/5. Significant advantage to NZ yet again
Hope our lower order shows some spine now and stays with Pujara

I can feel the pain mate it was all going good despite losing 4 wickets untill the last ball before tea where Wagner got rid of Vihari. A nice steady counter attacking partnership with a healthy net runrate but what followed later was an absolute mockery of throwing it away within a space of 1 hour.

Another overseas Test match that we will lose thanks to how Day 1 panned out. Difficult to see how we will come back after this.
