Great effort by Curran, but it should never have gotten this tight.

@SaiSrini would be really happy to see the performance of Sam Curran Today.

:D I was rooting for Shardul though and was disappointed that he gave away that many runs in his last over vs Sam Curran!

Poor stuff from India on the field and we should feel lucky in the end that it went our way!! Sam Curran was channeling his inner MS Dhoni, playing an almost Dhoni'esque finisher's knock. Too many catches dropped there and some really safe fielders dropping it. Natarajan bowled an excellent last over but he is still a T20 bowler who needs time to hone his ODI skills.

So England have a great chance of winning odi series in India after how many years? Don't know maybe they last won in 90s.
Hmmm

Ain't gonna happen this time as well.

Although Sam Curran once again against India outstanding.

Natarajan did what he knows best nailing those Yorkers at the death.

What a great series:
Started with Root's brilliant 218 in 1st test and Anderson's brilliant spell
then Rohit Sharma's brilliant 161 with bat then 5 wickets for Ravichadran Ashwin with ball and a 100 with bat
following Ishant's 100th test in Ahmedabad and the first pink ball test played in Ahmedabad and the test the match ending in 2 days
and Brilliant bowling from Axar Patel in the series and a great 100 by Rishabh Pant and that sweep shot to Anderson ! Just wow
in T20Is Magnificent knocks from young debutant Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav on debut and great knocks from Buttler and Malan and most importantly great knocks from Rohit and Kohli in 5th T20.
and Absolute brilliant innings by Shikhar Dhawan in 1st ODI and Magnificent smashing by Johnny Bairstow and finally a great knock played by Chutti Khuzhandai Sam Curran and Krunal Pandya dedicating his 50 to his late father.

Not a bad match but some poor cricket from both sides. Kohli rotated his bowers well and I think that was the difference today. Good win for India in the end.

Credit to India's bench strength and their resilience that they won both the T20 and ODI series despite having lost the toss for more than 80% of the games and being constantly asked to defend totals which was not easy at all in these conditions where chasing is far more easier. Yet, India won the imp moments and won both the LOI series against a No. 1 team in the world who have some pretty huge IPL experience behind them and are no strangers to these conditions.

THANK YOU RAHUL DRAVID!! :cheers:clap
