Back on the topic.. a day night test in India means I can finally watch. 4 am start here and it will finally be amazing to watch the match.

As said earlier what would worry both teams is the dew factor. The dew would make it difficult both for pacers and spinners to bowl. The best time for the pacers to bowl would be around 4-6pm in the evening, so the batsman better try and save their wickets in this passage of the match. Anderson and Broad should play together. They can really move the ball in this period. Although, England's batsmen would equally be troubled by Ishant's discipline.

My personal preference would be Umesh considering he has performed so well in the past playing at home.

I'm pretty sure, that Kung-fu Panda will play in place of Kuldeep tomorrow. Umesh is not 100% fit. Pandya is only selected for this day-night test.

Bowling in the nets and bowling in a Test match is a different thing altogether. There is a vast difference in both the things.

Pandya would be a Mitch Marsh under Smith's captaincy if he does end up playing. Hope he bats well at least.

This point definitely seems to suggest he will be in the playing XI.

I guess it makes some sense to play Pandya in a day-night test just to get some Test match experience in before an England tour in the summer, where India needs Pandya as fourth seamer. Only problem is India will effectively have a four man attack, suspect Pandya won't bowl more than a couple of overs to slowly test his body while bowling.
