England's tour of India (Nov '16/Feb '17)

I am worried that the dropped catch of ROOT by KOHLI should not cost us. It is absolutely disgusting to see so many catches being dropped in the two matches so far. At this level chances like that have to be taken. Especially if its Root/Cook.

Bowling 20.4 overs in an hour, incredible.

Kohli needs to be out of slip permanently, he's dropped far too many.

I have seen few comments where they want a ban on these things as well. Some people say if slow over rate is punitive, so should be very high over rate. I do not for one agree to this.

Yadav has bowled well.Defintely someone to look onto

What an pver this has been so far. Loved it fantastic from Shami

My vCash!!!! I think I'm on course to lose some.

Shami and Yadav! Wow!

Why oh why? Why would replace Umesh with Jayant?

Lol. I thought it was Umesh who took the wicket of Stokes.

I like the look of Jayant, wish he had a doosra in his arsenal though to really differentiate himself from Ashwin but he's different enough even without it.

Seeing the current situation of the game, I think England will now push for a draw rather than a win. We will get to see more LBWs through Ash, Jad and Jayant. Because batsmen go for defensive play and get themselves as a prey to the spinners.

I can see a fifty run stand from England here if both of the players currently playing are adopting to condition, respecting the pitch condition and spin of the ball.

I do hope we have a comfortable 150+ runs win here. We desperately need it to get back the lost confidence and consistency.

7 over new ball reversing, I've seen it all.

England were never pushing for a win lol.

They were. Root was on the strike overnight and they had got a good start from Cook and Hameed. 100 runs on the board with only 2 wickets down when the days play was called off. What all you need after getting a good start? Continue the way openers did :)

Yeah, and what exactly do you think the openers did? :rolleyes

No one other than Duckett has got out playing an offensive shot and that's primarily because he couldn't trust his defense against Ashwin on this pitch.

Done and dusted. England finally cave in. They have shown immense resilience though. Hats off to them. It's gonna be a closely fought series.

I think Kohli's drop catch in 1st innings was crucial Might well be the turning point of the series too.
Jayant looks impressive much better than stubborn Mishra.
