Great bowling by Bresnan today :D. Rashid didn't do anything special again though. Shahzad was awesome with the bat and did well with the ball. Hopefully he'll finally convert that potential of his. Vaughan and Brophy were great with the bat too.
 
Horton scored a hundred for us today as made it 3 straight wins for the season. Absolutely class Horton is.
 
Compared to surrey who have about 3 straight losses now :p
 
Hughes must be thinking what is the fuss about in English conditions cause he is killing it! That is his highest ODD score by 20 odd runs as well.

I think I'll wait until he's played teams a little better than Glamorgan and Scotland before I judge ;)
 
Yeh, he's hardly smacked around quality attacks. Possibly the 2 worst teams in the English County System, Scotland are definitely up there, and Glamorgan are pretty woeful themselves. The only decent bowler he's faced so far is Shantry, and I've never seen him bowl, so not entirely sure how good he really is, his records are quite impressive, but he has only really performed for 1 season though tbh.
 
The lad who top scored in Essex's first innings against the West Indies, Jaik Mickleburgh plays club cricket for my side. Obviously he hasn't and won't play for us this season but he played a few games in the same side as me last year. Claim to fame.
 
My clubs overseas plays for Prahran which is the club David Hussey plays for back in Aus and actually put on 167 with him in a grade game during the last Aussie season. I've played club cricket against Indika De Silva who played a 20/20 for Sri Lanka recently and has played ODI and test match cricket for them. And Tom Huggins who was tipped to be England's next big player in the early 2000's plays in the same league as I. Win.

I saw Mickleburgh batting on the highlights of the pre-season tour in Abu Dhabi and thought I remembered him. I'm not going back to Horsford this year. Does Harry still go?
