It's being reported that the PCB will not release its core players to play in County Cricket. The decision could effect players already signed up for Surrey (Asif), Yorkshire (Rana) & Essex (Kaneria).Worcestershire and Glamorgan are also effected as they had plans to sign Gul and Anjum. The decision could also effect Kent if they decide to resign Arafat.

Aga played for Kenya for a couple of years then went off to study. Came back last year playing for Sussex 2nds and took 17 (I think) wickets at 22. Averaged about 20 odd with the bat as well.

He won't be a starter, merely more secure, contracted back-up.

Liddle's also extended his deal by another couple of years.
