Spurs got Theowned.

Anyway, Newcastle are mugs. Pay ten million to get rid of a manager? He's not going to get them relegated, give him that £11 Million to spend and if Big Sam hadn't done enough by the end of the season, sack him then. Give yourself a whole summer to find the ideal replacement and allow him to build a squad. Newcastle are pathetic though, tbf.

I bet this is making for some pretty tough watching for Stu and the other Newcastle fans on these forums. They have been shite tonight, take nothing away from United though, Ronaldo has been supreme once more, and they rightly deserve to go top. If it wasnt for Given, United would have scored 6 or 7 by now.

When will Newcastle learn eh?

Never!

I can't help but feel that Mike Ashley's decision to get rid of big Sam was influenced by his business knowledge. Although he seems one with the fans and a real supporter of the club, I think he see's it as just another Business. But, I guess that's football nowadays.

I bet the fans are still sure that they're a big club though, rofl.

Newcastle need a big reshuffle though, as was mentioned on the bbc:

1800: "Given is on fire today. Newcastle should keep him and sell the rest of the squad and just start over."
BigDragg on 606

So so true, without Given today, Newcastle would have let in double figures. I bet its well fun being a Newcastle fan :p

Barnsley 1-3 Norwich. :D

9 unbeaten in all competitions now, 1 defeat in 12 games. We are only 9 points off the scum now and 10 points off the play offs, 4 points clear of the relegation zone!

We did well to win coming from behind. Glenn obviously gave them a kick up the backside at half time. Chedwin Evans is a gun - he is gonna be a big star.

:D :D :D

I listened to the last 60 minutes on the radio and ignoring how much of a total pricky twat faced penis Alan Green is we were immense by the sounds of things. Anyway top again and with Toure and Eboue gone from le arse things are looking up.

I went to see Leicester-Cov today. Leicester were suprisingly good and their new signings looked very good especially the Hungarians :p Their keeper was poo though and nearly let Coventry equalise through a socker but he survived and Leicester could have had more goals. Coventry took thebiggest crowd I've ever seen at leicester and they started off noisy but their team really gave them nothing to sing about.

Anyway, Ronaldo. :D

Lol, we got a poor result at Boro and go back into 4th...

Champions league place and a trophy I think we're going for.

Torres is boss.

Lescott > Torres.

I knew he'd score today. Inevitable after what happened at Chelsea the other night.

Newcastle need to learn! Sacking the manager is not what they should keep doing and sacking a man like Big Sam was a huge mistake. No-one is given any time in football anymore. Look at Sir Alex, he didn't hit the ground running did he? It's about time we gave someone a good flogging though! It has been a while...

Back on top where we belong! Cheers, Brummies!!! :cheers

Take the example of Wenger, for instance. He didn't exactly star...oh, wait...he won the Double in his first full season. But, that's only because he's absolute class...never mind.

Seriously, Newcastle and their fans are deluding themselves if, not only, they consider themselves a top 6 team, at the moment, but they expect success straight away. At much as I dislike Big Sam, he was not only a proven Uefa Cup-qualifying manager but he was a proven Premiership manager. It's not like he didn't know the game after 8 years at Bolton, is it?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, legend, will be given the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav!

Interesting to hear Souness on Newcastle, he wasn't allowed to buy the players he wanted, he hates Freddie Shepherd, Newcastle aren't a big club in comparison with the others he's managed and he thinks the geordies need to stop talking about football non-stop. That stuffs usually saved for an autobiography!

Newcastle and their fans need to have a reality check, they aren't a big club and are nothing more than mid table.

Where has this expectation come from? They've won nothing of note for 40 years!
