no it's not. Tell me one game where Rio's been shambolic

Hmmm, I can remember as far back as Molineux 2004 against Wolves. He has at least 1 dodgy performance every 4 or 5 games. If you weren't a Utd fan, you'd easily admit that Carra is the better player.

Rio is not as consistent as he could be, to be fair.

(See? I told you I don't do biased!)

Thank you!

I'm not saying Rio is a bad defender because he's obviously not, it's just that he has games where he's not at the races. Carra doesn't.

He just needs to improve his consistency to become a true great. However, that's the hard part.

He blatantly hasn't had a bad game every 4 or 5 games, just because we concede doesn't mean he's hd a bad game and wolves was a hell of long time ago. I very much doubt you've been watching united at all if you believe he has one bad performance every 4 or 5 games. If you want i could go down every game from last year and tell you how he played because it appears to me you could count the number on 1 hand.

I can't give you specific examples but sometimes Rio looks very lazy whereas Carra is more consistent, Probably when Rio is having a good day he is slightly better than Carra, he's done enough in the past to have kept Carra out of the England squad for a long time afterall.

Joe, you clearly think Rio is better just because he's a Manc. That's the long and short of it. Carra is clearly a better defender which is visible to everyone who isn't a Utd fan.

So instead of actually giving a valid reason as to why he's better you call me biased. Well done, you sure proved me wrong

You are biased. That's the bottom line. I gave you an example which you shunned and I could give plenty more. But what would be the point when you won't be convinced?

An example from 3 years ago. A player can change a hell of a lot in 3 years.

Hang on, that was 3 and a half years ago, before his 9 month ban infact. I think Carragher might have had at least one bad game in that 3 and a half year period. Come up with a proper and recent example.

I can see what you mean in a way that, Rio can look lazy, but it's because he makes defending look so easy that it looks that way.

Alright I admit defeat. My judgment of him remains however, I just can't be arsed arguing.

And i'll look foolish anyway come tomorrow when he scores in United's 3-1 win at Goodison.
