This bloody situation cues lots of people bringing up this odious word: passion. Cockneys keep phoning the radio saying the next England manager should be English because he'd have the 'passion'. Ugh.

Two things to chuckle at this week, this poll having Everton as title contenders :lol and 'arry Redknapp getting let off when he was obviously guilty.

Bound to be either a bribed or biased jury, or maybe a technical error like the men bagging the evidence got bored after the first ?50k and made a mistake.

Still he's managed to conceal his goldfish is in receipt of JSA and the dog is also in receipt of housing benefit for his two kennels in Cumbria. The parrot is in receipt of a state pension while the snake gets disability allowance as a paraplegic! Meanwhile the hamster doesn't claim a penny - yet

Final nail in the coffin. You're now on ignore. You talk some complete and utter fookin shite.

I thought the way England qualified for the Euros under FC was nothing short of a miracle. He is one of the best in the world and I regret the way Madrid let him go in 2007 as well.

Only 3 English managers in the Premier League at last count... Maybe we could get Steve MacLaren back.

And I don't really want any of the 3: Harry Redknapp, Woy Hodgson or Mick McCarthy in charge of England.

I'm sure Redknapp will get it but something doesn't sit right with me.

Nothing is ever right with the England job or the English FA for that matter.

The obvious problem is that in the long run it doesn't matter who they appoint as there is no long term strategy in place. The FA is a total shambles and they have no direction whatsoever. They need to be investing in the future by making a greater number of "home grown" coaches who are better qualified. For the short term though, I can only see Hiddink for the Euros.

Whoever gets the job, it goes without saying that he's an idiot who's ruining the golden generation of English footballer and he doesn't know what he's doing

Apparently they won't appoint Hiddink as he's too close to Terry.

Hiddink would be ideal! Look at what he has done with all the international teams he has managed. But the FA won't appoint him, of course. I am not sure if Redknapp is the right man. It's not about if the coach is English, it's about if he's successful and Hiddink is a proven International coach. Besides, his English is already good, unlike a certain Mr Capello. I agree with the FA that it was out of order by Capello to never bother to properly learn English.

Now onto today's game. Luis Suarez, you're a spoilt brat and a loser. He brushes Evra's hand aside as though he's the one who was wronged! Evra was the one who was wronged, yet he's still man enough to offer to shake the man's hand. Loser, Suarez.

And what's Jamie Redknapp on about that Rio should've been sent off at the end of the half??? He clearly played the sodding ball. Once a Liverpool man, always a Liverpool man, eh Jamie?

The FA needs a complete overhaul, starting from the bottom and going all the way to the top. They're so out of touch with what modern international football needs, it's not funny. Look at Mertesacker - he said his form is suffering because he's not getting the usual mid season break he's used to.

Goal!!!!!!!

Rooney for Utd! 1-0. :D

Goal!!!!! Rooney again! 2-0 and we're going top, 2-0 and we're going top, 2-0 and we're going top, 2-0 and we're going top! (Go West). :D

Either that or they complain that foreigners "don't speak English proper".

Not all foreign managers' English is as bad as Capello's.

Not all English managers' English is as good as Capello's...

Don't recall Bobby Robson learning Portuguese at Porto or Beckham learning Spanish when he played for Real Madrid. The British, as a nation, are the last people to criticise anyone for failing to master a language.
