Starting to like Big Andy now. Hopefully next season is his.

Torres was about to explode today. I think he was one miss away from showing the middle finger to the crowd. Loved it.

No you won't since your club have nothing to lose from it if they do win. Spurs and Newcastle fans on the other hand will be hoping and praying they don't become the worst side to ever win the champions league :p

Shoo! :p The last thing I want to see is Fernando Torres and John Terry undeservingly (like you said) lifting that gem of a trophy in the Champions League.

Honestly, how Stewart Downing continues to play at any level above Sunday League is beyond me. He is ferlucking ferlucking shelite.

Two words.

Poor Downing.

I think Carroll was more cautious when he was alone. He's more talented than that. During the first half he had a clear chance to put away to up the side 4-0 when he held back for two good seconds, while he still had a shot It was too easy for Turnbull. Other than that he's really getting into the groove he had at Newcastle.

Terry is better off in the crowd for CL final, way too shabby. Or the pitch. :p

Which they'll definitely lose. Yes, I'm reeking of overconfidence atm regarding their chances on May 19 at Munich. Hopefully won't be regretting my cockiness later. :D

Sorry you seem to have forgotten the match that actually mattered last saturday..

4th position was lost a long time ago.

If you think winning last night is some kind of revenge you are well mistaken.

We have had a cack season but have 1 last chance to make it a great 1.

Where's you guys have had your worst season i can remember in my 30 years on this planet,, the carling cup really is not worth anything unless your in the championship,.

Take a long hard look in the mirror scousers

Any time I hear a Liverpool fan saying the season has been a success because of the Carling Cup, I just can't stop laughing.

I would consider it a big deal for a top club if they got the PL and FA Cup as well, unquestioned dominance.

First things first - I never ever said this season was anywhere near to being a successful campaign for us. We're going to finish below Everton, so if anything, this season's been a disaster.

Secondly, I didn't say this win had avenged our FA Cup final defeat on Saturday.

Finally, that post of mine talked through my opinion on Bayern's chances of ripping you to shreds on May 19. Not Liverpool!

This.

Next season

Reina
Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - ???
??? - Gerrard - Lucas - ???
Suarez - ???

Bench:

??? - Backup goalie
Enrique
Coates
Bellamy
Henderson
Aquilani
Carroll

These question marks imo needs to looked after this summer. Basically, five signings away from becoming a fairly decent side again. An LB relatively not much of an issue compared to the other 4 question marks, but the way Enrique's been playing of late, that slot cannot be overlooked either. Definitely need a finisher, as well as a couple of quality wingers (Kuyt and Maxi might have well played their last game at Anfield yesterday). Aquilani's likely to return as well, so that should be a major boost to start with. And Doni's almost certainly leaving, meaning we need a backup goalie - someone like ter Stegen (Monchengladbach).

I'm not so sure about this. We have Newcastle and you have Swansea and there only a point between us.

Think both the matches will end in a draw. Plus you guys deserve to finish seventh - Barely even spent anything in the market and were shrewd enough to sign the outstanding Jelavic!

Have seen some overreaction from Liverpool fans after last night's result Had expected nothing less than that from them.

Anyway...

Premier League @premierleague

Howard Webb has been appointed referee for Sunderland v Manchester United on 13/05/12. #bpl #safc #mufc

Fergie is desperate! :lol

Premier League @premierleague

Mike Dean has been appointed referee for Manchester City v Queens Park Rangers on 13/05/12. #bpl #mcfc #qpr

they were like this when they but us 3-0 the other month. they turned a corner then and look what league form that lead into.

winning against a team not at full strength in midweek home-matches proves nothing.

He should be - we are on the verge of losing the title after all. I really can't see City dropping the ball now; if anything, I see us being the ones who drop points and it will be the most annoying thing ever if we fail to win and they actually do drop points! To be honest, his tactics have been at fault recently. In the Everton game if he could see what was happening, why didn't he call Rio or Scholes over and tell them to sit on the lead? And then there was the bewildering decision not to play Valencia or Young against City - those two were terrorising Swansea and would've done the same against City. If we had someone running at City and raiding down their flanks as much as they were doing to us, we would've had chances. C'est la vie.

Wolves new manager

Anybody know him?

He seems to have won some trophies during the time he was with Kobenhavn. Was the previous manager of FC Koln on an interim basis.
