Norwich drew 2-2 with the scum today.:) A good result after the way things have been going, we came back from 2-0 down to get that today anyway. Our best performance of the season definetely, and a decent start for Glenn Roeder.

And, we were on TV, where we never play well. Anyone watch?

Yeah, I did. Decent game. Although his goal was a belter I thought Cureton had a shocker up til then, missed a couple of far easier chances.

Norwich deserved at least a draw on the balance of play and I reckon the ball might've gone out before it was crossed back in for Counago's goal too.

2-2, the better result for united because we didn't play well and aaway at the emirates a points always good. I don't think whatever the result was it had much effect on where the titles goes but a draws good. Shame we had to throw it away but we always were going too. So out of their first 2 tough games the gooners get 2 points not bad but not exactly told the rest of the league their going to be champions this year. When you consider 3 out of their 11 won't be around for 2 months you can see why united are rightly favourites.

Just our luck that linesman was obviously closely related to the guy from the 1966 World Cup! It was a goal, though, but we really should've held onto that one for two more minutes. I'm not too sure where three minutes stoppage time came from, either, but that's football. If football did what rugby does and stops the clock for injuries, then there'd be no need for stoppage time anyway and a lot less controversy. What does everyone think?

Well done, Utd though. Still a damn good result away from home.

Great idea. I'd like the clock stopped for subs too; few things more irritating in football than a manager bring a player on with 30 seconds left solely to run the clock down.

While we're on "nicking ideas from rugger", I'd like to see ten minutes in the sin-bin for yellows too. That way the team who the offence was commited against benefit from it, rather than some random team down the line when player X has enough cautions to earn a ban.

they won' stop the clock for football. As they show on sky sports the ball only ends up being in play for about 27 minutes a half so the players would be knackered :p

They should introduce the only talk to the captains rule and I can see that going ahead soon. Obviously it's not much good if your captain is john Terry and he's tryin to take the refs cards off him

probably already said but i am tooo lazy to check lol

let the physios on while the game is still going on, like in rugby, stop the time-wasting fakers

Or, just do something like on that Mr T Snickers advert :p.

Just picture it, a great big tank smashing through Anfield/Emirates/Stamford Bridge (not OT, tanks are banned there :p ) What a lovely sight!!!!! (Just kidding!)

Yep, sin-bins would be a great idea.

That wouldn't work because football is more spread, where as rugby most players are in one space during a scrum/ruck/maul and it doesn't move that quickly.

I think we should also have blood replacements because it not fare a team having 10 men when there star player is getting stitches. Also i was watching the rugby yesterday and when the refree was telling the player what not to do the player said "but" and then the ref went " Your not here too talk just Listen" and this guy was about 6'5 he was talking too, when Rob Styles is getting bullied by SWP. But big match for reds tonight if we get beat= Rafas sacked

Haha, I will laugh so hard if they don't win tonight - its going to make it past impossible to progress:D
