Who will win the Premiership?

Tbh Moyes isn't at fault, I mean seriously, same players but different manager. Yes there is something called tactics and if the players feel uncomfortable they will tell the manager first, I mean surely Moyes has words with Sir Alex every known and then and he surely has given him advice. If there is anyone to blame it is not Moyes it is the players who go out there and disappoint.

Meanwhile rumors:

I hope this is true, just to see if it is just the manager difference.

Haha 1-1.:p What a match! Bunch of arguments and laughter shots. What Cahill was asking for to Foster at the last minute "Give me the ball match is over".:p Down show really. Hazard was superb and tricky. Willian was good too, but couldn't do anything better with long shot finishings. Defending was seeming good but the last 10 minutes were possessed by them and their counter attacking was more chancy. The equalizer was predictable one when they had two shots before the goal. Not a good play, we need to do well at away as well. If we start depending on City's & Gunner's loss against their respecting teams then the trophy is never ours.

If cleverley gets picked and scores today you know it will be from an overshot cross.

There's that late winner for Liverpool under Rodgers! Finally! What a game of football. Steven Gerrard you absolute legend.

Exclusive: Man United Set to Sack David Moyes and Look to Bring In Sir Alex Ferguson as Short-Term Replacement | CaughtOffside.com

Wow - that's a bolt from the blue; I'm not sure how reliable CaughtOffside are though. If Moyes does go, that's the best thing that can happen until we can get someone in for the summer.

I don't know - 'never go back' and all that - Sir Alex returning could merely end up tarnishing his record with us.

Decent performance tonight; dunno why we're still playing Mata out wide. Crunching header from RvP, as well as a very strange miss from him in the first half.

----------

In a nutshell.

No

But I don't think he has a squad who will knuckle down with him and pull together.

There is to many players who are no doubt going to be leaving or retiring the end of this season who are just going through the motions

Evra
Ferdinand
Vidic
Giggs

Your best 2 players have a disruptive and volatile past

Rooney
Van Persie

Then you have these who I don't see as players who will battle to the end for the shirt

Rafael
Young
Nani
Cleverly
Mata
Welbeck
Januzaj

This leaves this handful who I think are the type of players who will give it there all and back the manager

Hernandez
Jones
Smalling
Fletcher
Valencia
De Gea

Doesn't leave you with much of a squad to work together, and take away the big 3, Mata, Rooney, Van Persie, what's more worrying is the lack of quality beyond them

That's a very in depth analysis of the current situation, Lee. You make some very good points.

He means they won't fight for the team the way someone like say - Roy Keane - did. Remember that match vs Juventus when we were 2-0 down? Without a leader like Keane, the Treble would never have happened.

I think Paul Ince has it right - the team is currently devoid of leaders and we've never replaced Roy Keane.

You really think he 'remembers' that match:lol.

Maybe not. :D

But that was a perfect example of a captain - a leader - pulling a team up by its bootstraps. Juve were completely outplaying us that night, until Keane scored to get us back into the match.

Where's the Keane now - where are the leaders?

Harsh on Wellbeck to say he won't fight. I know you don't like him, but he could never be accused of not 'putting in a shift.'

Also I think Sralex could turn up, shit on the center circle, punch Bobby Charlton in the face and pawn all the trophy cabinet to cashforgold. All this whilst wearing a Man City shirt and his reputation would still be in tact at OT.

There won't be any proper Roy keane replacements. It's as if all his replacements are cursed. Djemba Djemba, Owen Hargreaves, Miller, Fellaini. All of them struggled to fill his boots. Hargreaves was probably the unluckiest of them with the plight of his injuries throughout his stay, if not he'd still be around in the squad today.

True. There is a need for a central figure around the squad who could motivate the team to make most of the comeback situations and turn games around, which reflects the whole point this season for united. It's the X factor united have been deprived of since Sir Alex left.

phil jones was bought because of a match where man u were tonking blackburn he was running about demanding better of his team mates. he is leader material but it's a lot to ask of him at this age.

Yeah I agree with that - Welbeck works very hard for the team.

Hargreaves.... that was so frustrating. I think he would've been a great player not just for Utd but also for England.

If there's one thing Welbeck is good at, it's putting in a shift. Problem is that's all he's good at.

Though I guess he does have the unique attribute of putting in a shift at his great pace.

Tottenham, Liverpool and now Everton. What a draw. If we don't win the cup after facing this sort of opposition, what a disappointment it will be.

Very annoying looking at the draws the other teams have.
