Who will win the Premiership?

That's what makes him so annoying. He's a brilliant footballer, he does not need to do that.

Here's a photo I took of him today when the Liverpool players came to warm up right in front of me.

lol@ chicharito's supposed 'calibre', guy can't control or pass a ball to save his life, he's a good poacher but in modern day football that's not nearly good enough.

Chicharito is good off the bench, that's about as far as you can go. He's still very valuable to Man Utd IMO.

Brother , no offence , but that's BS.

This is Salah's first season in England... He has amazing speed and talent and could be our next Arjen.

Schurrle has been good... He is bulking up.. Building more muscle to adapt to the physical nature of England. He is a clinical finisher and can raise his levels for the bigger matches , just like Eto'o.

Luiz , whether you like it or not , is the best candidate for being skipper after JT26.

Luiz has been amazing at midfield to say the least. In the bigger matches after Jan , we've won the midfield battles , and guess who started ? Matic and Luiz. They form a dynamic combo and Jose loves him to say the least. Luiz has had one bad match , against PSG.

Rom is a magnificent talent , but he is not ready to lead the line of a team like Chelsea. Banging goals for Everton , who chase a CL spot , and banging goals for a title-chasing team like Chelsea , are two different things. The pressure makes a huge difference. We need a Costa/Mandzukic/Martinez.

And in matches like yesterday , we missed a creative number 10/ clinical number 9. And the refereeing was appalling to say the least. Rami should have been sent off , but a couple minutes before that , we should've got a penalty as well.. So many handballs were missed and I don't think there was serious contact between Altidore and Dave.

You are talking out your a hole

Luiz captain :lol, have you took your pils?

Another chelsea fan blaming the officials, get bored of fans like you every chelsea match I watch, to win the title you can't lose at villa, palace, and then Sunderland at home, that is not a team good enough to win it, and that is down to the players and the manager, not the bloody ref.

Luiz as captain is till tickling me. :lol :lol :lol

Do you even watch Brazil's matches ?!?!

It is the Geezer who acts as a leader , even when they have Thiago Silva. So you're saying he could captain Brazil , but not chelsea. What a load of BS.

And coming to the topic of Chicharito , on his day , he is among the top 3 poachers in the world. All we need is someone who can finish , and Chicharito fits the bill. I am not saying Jose/Emenalo should make him our #1 target , but what I'm saying he wouldn't be a bad option.

----------

If we don't get Costa , I'd love to have Immobile in. He is tearing up defenses for Torino and is a couple of years younger. I'm posting this here cause the transfers thread is deserted. :p

He is not good enough for Chelsea, what is it that he is actually good at?

He can't defend, he is a liability, he doesn't score or create any goals, and yet you want him captain.?

Most pundits and fans know he is a liability, and as sad as it is he has only got where he is because he's a bit different, take away his bird nest haircut and his craziness and no one would like him.

Three of our best performances this season - the home wins against Arsenal and Liverpool as well as the amazing 1-0 victory at the Etihad - have come with David Luiz in the centre of the pitch. He hasn't changed much, of course: despite Mourinho's presence he's still as silly as ever, but he's turning into an absolute beast in the centre of the pitch.

What has changed is the context in which he plays. Gary Cahill's emergence as a dependable centre back means that David Luiz isn't required to partner JT , freeing him up to be used elsewhere, and the acquisition of Nemanja Matic in January has given Mourinho the option of using him in a freer role in midfield

Arsenal was a devastating reminder of just how effective the Matic-David Luiz partnership can be. Both are highly mobile, physical players with the technique to keep the ball and the vision to spark the attack. Matic also possesses the tactical discipline to cover for his sometimes-wayward companion.

Giving David Luiz license to roam in midfield, with a dedicated defensive player backing him up, is producing extraordinary results.

I don't agree with you there. He shouldn't be captain (of anything) but he's actually a decent defensive midfielder because his distribution is pretty good and his defensive liabilities are less important.

I don't understand the farce that is the PFA young player award. How on earth are 24 year olds considered to be young !?!?! I feel there should be a cap on the age of the player , something like 21-22. Messi and CR7 were dominating world football when they were 24. Someone please enlighten me :p
