Should have been a red card on Nani, shocking tackle. Turkey came back into it at the end but think Portugal deserved it for sure.

Germany V Poland. WW3. Thats the late one and I think Croatia-Austria is on at 4 or 5. Both are on the beeb anyway because ITV wanted Lewis Hamilton.

Beats me.

God I love international tournaments, just loads of football, when normally, would you sit down to watch Switzerland vs Czech Republic? I prefer the world cup mind, even more football, 3 games a day for virtually 5 weeks. The first game today was dull, but the Portugal game was good. Ronaldo on top form. 2 superbly made goals as well.

Yeah, come on Poland tomorrow, looking forward to Holland Italy, but I'm missing probably the best game so far, Holland vs France on Friday.

I honestly do prefer the Euro's to be honest. There's just something about them that brings better performances out of players than in the World Cup. I mean compare the brilliance of Euro 2004 to the ever so slightly boring World Cup 2006.

Croatia 1-0 up at half time but Austria are still right in it, the goal was a pen right at the start and it could go any way in the seconds half!

There is nothing quite like it, is there? Loads of football on TV, usually two a day or more, just a shame that England aren't there. Oh well, there's always Italy, tough game to start with against Holland eh?
