France draw 0-0, oh well. Dull. Very uninspiring from France. Evra would offer them so much more in attack and should walk into a side that poor offensively.

Evra wouldnt make much of a difference as he would keep running inside Malouda' area and make France weaker defensively because of his intent of going forward. It might work for Manure, where you have Vidic and Ferdinand to cover, but I dont think Thuram at 36 can do the same.

But very disappointing performance from France, although I thought Romania were playing for the draw. Expected Ribery to walk through their defence.

I wouldn't of started Anelka, he hasn't really deserved it since January and is in poor form. Even if he has a good game I probably would still of not started him.

The other option left was Gomis, who if it wasnt for the two goals he got in the last friendly, wouldnt even have made it into the final squad. Domenech's tactic is to make Benzema the creator, and Anelka the finisher. Dint work today because of Romania's horribly negative tactics, but I have a feeling it might work in the games to come. Although Henry has to play when he is fit.

Malouda does not need to be accomodated into this side, Evra does. It might be a risk I agree but when you're playing such a defensive side and you are going to struggle to score you need to take risks.

I dont think Evra would have made any difference on the left side today anyway because the Romanians would let him move about with the ball. They played well because they dont have as many stars as France, but it was way too negative for me.

Cantona was on 5live Said it is never the right time to leave Manchester united, quality Also said he didn't have the time to watch France which sums up his attitude towards them.

Interesting line up for Italy, I would have liked to have had De Rossi playing, Fergie really likes him which is interesting considering they lost 7-1 to us. Think we might sign him this summer. Dutch ling up looks a lot weaker without Robben and VP which is a shame for them, think Italy might edge this one now.

I've been watching a fair bit more of this tournament than I thought i would be. This has been a good game so far, Van Nistelrooy should have gone down and not been honest, he'd have got a penalty if he'd have gone down. I want Holland to win tonight, not a fan of the boring Italians. Portugal are going to win the championships tbh, Ronaldo ftw.
