Rules (Copied and modified from various places)


1) Don't quote any communication you have received via PM from myself.
2) Alignments will be revealed upon death.
3) If anything in your PM overrides these rules then your PM is to be followed.
4) No communication about the game outside of this thread, unless your PM says so. If someone contacts you, report it to me. This is a strict rule, follow it or you will likely be banned from future games.
5) You are allowed one post as a ghost once you are dead. After that please do not comment in the thread.
6) Don't edit your posts. Once you post, it's there to stay. Also, don't post in white-text.
7) Once you're dead, you can't win. Survival is the key.
8) Roleclaiming is encouraged. Mafia have been given fake character claims.


Signups now open, 5 players are needed - ideally experienced players.

Cop mafia works as follows. There are five players, four of whom are cops and 1 who is mafia. The cops are normal, insane, paranoid and naive.

Tips and advice
The more info you have the more chance you have of winning. Lynching early helps the mafia.
This can be a quick game but tactics and discussion are still important.

Ok, it will be slightly themed. Character names will be cop names but won't give any hints as to alignment and sanity.

One question... what if all these cops roleclaim at the start? The best the mafia can do in that case is to cc one person and take him down, before taking one more down at the night. Then isn't it game over for the mafia?

First 5. It only works for 5. So I'll take the 4 of you and then hedger if he wants in.

Here's a simulated example of how the game might work. Day 3 is LiLo (lynch or lose) if you avoid lynching during the day phases. In this case Player 3 is confirmed mafia and lynched.

The best thing about this game would be that everyone will be active and that does help the activity, of course. This is surely gonna be fun....
