Batting AND bowling can be controlled up until the 'last second' - just as in real life and just as it should be
.

Regarding fact about player editor we have to wait for some more time...

very promising

all the facts are very promising ...

I just hope they keep their facts right on the final product!

'Brian Lara International Cricket'

'Brian Lara International Cricket' sounds like an interesting and respectful Cricket video game. I am an eager Cricket player and fan, and also enjoy watching the sport on television. The 'Snick-O-Meter' and 'Hawkeye' are two of the most influential creations of technology used in the sport, and it is only right to add this into the video game.
I am not entirely sure on the precise release date of the video game, but the 'Playstation 2: Official Magazine UK' states in its 'Incoming' section that it will be released in Summer 2005.

That's pretty much the same as Monday's fact of the day.

True, but as he keeps saying, the facts have got to last till the summer! So we're going to get a number of facts on the same subject or similar to previous facts. Still think its great that we're getting kept up to date with many things.

man now this is starting to get a bit boring atleast a screenshot or two .
its due time now

BLIC Fact of the Day - 13th January
Codemasters have released a two part fact of the day with the second part coming tomorrow.

Part 1 is:

Key to the difference between top quality, average, and tailend batsmen in Brian Lara 2005 is in the foot movement range associated with each batsman type and the range of shots available to them. The better batsmen have much better foot movement, allowing them to play shots that tailenders would struggle with, and they also have many more shots available to them (as in real life).

FFACT OF THE 17 TH JAN 05
THERE WOULD BE NO STREAKERS AND PIGEONS IN THE GAME.

Q:Which sports game had streakers running in it?

Fact of the Day Tuesday 18th

In the Practice Nets section you can select the batsman and/or bowler you want to be - so if you're facing a fearsome fast bowler in your next match, you can practice your batting against him before the game starts. Alternatively, you can also pit your bowling wits against the world-class batsman that you can select, who might hit you for six in next round and find his weak-points

Excellent...so I can enjoy smashing Hoggard/Harmison/Giles for 4 every ball :)

Or you can just look at his stats and find his weak points by that :)
