my levels from the past week are ranging from 270 to 310, and it's due to eating some energetic food of the fasting season, ........it's how it goes, even if you fast for 6 hours, your sugar levels may get low if you already have less than 120-150 before breakfast, and by the evening (considering if you have been fasting all the time) levels can get to 80-90, doesn't matter, but you'll have something like your stomach protesting for food
, you can't bear it and get weak, (and this is a routine experience for me..) so, the basic point which i'm coming to is that when you take any energetic food like glucose biscuits or sweets, it'll pump you to 200 or above normal levels at least (depending on how much sweet content you've taken) so, there's not much to worry.. the levels won't go too low, and the
basic thing you need to take care is to have levels above 150 - 180 in the morning on a general basis, i.e; not too high, not too low, so even when you fast, it doesn't effect your health other than "brrrr" sounds and feelings like black holes in your stomach..
My opinion is don't drink too much diet coke, avoid it from getting past the limits, and take as many fruits, that too the one's which are healthy and not harmful to your health like apples, water melon, etc; ....and there's a point, don't take fruits like banana, sugar canes, and fruits like that which can be as harmful as they can.. and eat cashew regularly, which keeps a good balancing and support to the controlling medicines which you are taking..
These are general things to know if you fast i might sound difficult and hard to follow, but once you get an idea on how to control your problems, it's normal and feels like you're leading a normal life
I assume your Type 2;..
