Long winded, gimmicky and cheesy shots inside the dressing room on the other hand would be an utter waste
Just needs to be simple and easily enjoyable, but skippable...
Batsmen in the dugout during a T20
Shot of the bowler/3rd man talking to the 12th man on the boundary line
Shot of an out-fielder signing an autograph
Shot of the batsmen waiting in the stands/dressing room area
...etc, nothing long winded. Keep it "cricket" ...short and simple.
I'd also like to see cute stuff like during the "welcome to the game" stuff when it's a "Big Game" or a "Big Stadium" match to tie in with the "we're expecting a sell-out crowd here" commentary rather than the same panning-shot of the stadium, a shot of the queue lining up outside the stadium
Agreed. The stadium announcer is an excellent example of how something "cosmetic" is used in a fantastic way and you never really get tired of him!
I've said it before but the sound-stuff in the first game is above and beyond any other game ever made in the cricket library. Top notch, room for improvement for sure but the "environment" stuff and the customization for individual player noises added incredible variety.
