Haha yeah I got a bit carried away. I'll slow down more now we're into the season.

Yeah, i came back from school, expecting the 2nd half and saw a massive stream of updates till Round 1 :p

But, still mate, this is a really good story, its top notch, loving it Jesse.

Yeah, just do it when ever you feel like it. In my story sometimes I do an update each day, others you have to wait a week for me to do it.

Hahah alright thanks alot guys. I'm thinking I might just do the prematch for Port later today, cause if I START the next game, I'll have to finish it, which will be clogging it again haha.

Great start Jesse. Loving the write-up. The baby ad on your West Coast page is kinda creepy but apart from that everything looks awesome, haha.

Keep up the presentation. I wouldn't say there is a problem with posting heaps of updates, so long as you don't get burnt out writing it - otherwise it is great.

Anyway, good luck with the Port match and keep up the excellent start.

Thanks alot mate. Hahaha! I thought I'd try and find a funnyish ad on the internet and post it in each article just for fun, like a different one each time. There's also a Nike on the Brisbane one i think.

Yeah nah I'm not gonna get burnt out anytime soon. This is a lot of fun and it's my summer holidays at the moment (I don't live in Australia atm) so yeah, crap all to do. :)

Alrighty I'll do the Port prematch in a bit. Arghh I've noticed some really irritating typos haha. Dayamn.

The font is stretched and a little bit harder to read - if you could make it a bit bigger and easier to see that would be great. Still, the presentation is superb.

Should be a nice even game, like the odds say, cant wait to see how NickyNat goes again. And shuttup Jesse, thats how my teeth look like.

Hahah oh I'm sorry :p

What do you guys think of one game a day? No more or less. Cause I have plenty of time on my hands. Is that enough time as to not rush it?

If you have the time, go ahead. It`d be nice if you were the first person to actually finish the whole season :p

Quarter Time
WCE 6.2.38 v PORT 0.2.2

The Eagles dominated that quarter of football here at Subiaco Oval, and have kept Port Adelaide goalless. Nicholas Naitanui got the ball rolling for West Coast after receiving a dish off from Staker to put it through the big sticks and give the Eagles their first major. Ebert then backed him up, converting two set shots. Adam Selwood then booted a running goal from 40 out, before the Port decided to up the ante and were much harder at the football. During a brief 10 minute period, the ball rarely left the West Coast's defensive 50, but with Port not actually able to get the ball. Just when West Coast seemed to be just accumulating disposals for the last minute, Wirrpanda sent them forward with one of 'those' kicks, the kind we haven't seen for years, the kind that could go 70 metres easily. Hansen then marked it and ran up the corridor, before bombing it long only for Lynch to pick it up and snap a goal from 40 out on the run with 3 seconds on the clock.

Matt Priddis, Adam Selwood and Brad Ebert are among the best for the Eagles, while Kane Cornes amassed a brilliant 14 disposals for the quarter. Dean Cox and Nick Naitanui's combined 6 hitouts trump Dean Brogan's 4 and Brendon Lade's 0.

Goals (WCE): Ebert 2, Naitanui, Adam Selwood, Lynch
Top 3 Disposals (WCE): Adam Selwood (10), Priddis (10), Brad Ebert (9)
Gone Cold (WCE): Scott Selwood (0), McKinley (0), Waters (0)

Goals (PORT): N/A
Top 3 Disposals (PORT): Kane Cornes (14), Peter Burgoyne (10), Salopek (8)
Gone Cold (PORT): Tom Logan (0), Jacob Surjan (0), Matt Thomas (0)

West Coast 6.2.38
Port Adelaide 0.2.2

Half Time
WCE 9.4.58 v PORT 2.4.16

A much more even quarter of footy there between the West Coast Eagles and the Port Adelaide Power. The Eagles still lead by 42 points however, so if the Power want to win this game, they're going to have to start playing like it.

In that quarter we saw Quentin Lynch boot two more outstanding goals from outside 50 to extend the margin to 49 points, before Kane Cornes, who seems to be the only player out there for Port, capped off a miraculous running goal. Adam Selwood was soon sent to tag him however, and he started to get less of the ball. But it seemed to spark his team up, and they started to get much more of the sherrin.

Josh Kennedy cancelled out Cornes' effort soon after however, but Port managed to sneak one last goal in through Salopek.

Goals (WCE): Lynch 3, Ebert 2, Naitanui 2, Kennedy, Adam Selwood
Top 3 Disposals (WCE): Rosa (15). Kerr (14), Adam Selwood (13)
Gone Cold (WCE): McKinley (1)

Goals (PORT): Salopek, Kane Cornes
Top 3 Disposals (PORT): Kane Cornes (23), Carr (19), Peter Burgoyne (18)
Gone Cold (PORT): Tom Logan (0)

West Coast 9.4.58
Port Adelaide 2.4.16
