Three Quarter Time

KERR.jpg

The first goal of a one-sided first quarter didn't come until the fourteen and a half minute mark when Quentin Lynch bagged his fourth of the day. Daniel Kerr played a blinder in that term picking up 12 possessions to make a total of 26, plus 2 goals from each pocket to give West Coast an insurmountable lead. Rosa was also excellent picking up 11 to go to 26. Kennedy also chipped in with a goal to extend the buffer to 73 points at the final change. West Coast managed to keep Port Adelaide scoreless while kicking 4.7 themselves for the quarter. For the Power, Domenic Cassisi has also managed 26 disposals. The Eagles will be looking to ram home the advantage, and give coach Jesse McLure a well deserved win.

Alright thats it for tonight guys. Saints and West Coast coming up tomorrow.

I added a Darren Glass article on page 3, I meant to do it but I clearly forgot to post it. Sorry for the inconvenience but it's there if you wanna give it a peak.

Wow, real domination over Port. That's amazing how they only scored 2.4.16

Haha I looked it up, and it's their lowest score in AFL history. You know previous it was 4.8.32 v Richmond, AND THEY STILL WON THE GAME.

Haha anyway, yeah it was also WCE's second biggest win over Port.

HAH! PORT IS SHITHOUSE! Just as well, they`re my most hated team in the comp. Useless prick. Great win mate!

Hahaha. You know I think that's a fair call, but you know I've got a better side in this than we did in round 3 in real life. Less injuries etc. But yeah i can't see us getting within 40 points of you guys.

Hope we win this, but no idea why Brad Howard is playing, whilst Dal Santo isnt.

Good point. You know I'll start posting reports and injuries each round, can't believe I forgot to so far. Sorry about that.

dajesmac added 1 Minutes and 43 Seconds later...

OKay for the Saints Luke Ball is out with O.P for the season and Dal Santo is out for 3 weeks with a hamstring strain I think.

Quarter Time
STK 2.4.16 v WCE 4.4.28

McKinley.jpg

Quarter time at Etihad Stadium and it's the Eagles who have somehow gained a 2 goal lead. The first goal of the match didn't come until the eight minute mark when Josh Kennedy marked and goal straight in front 15 metres out for the visitors. Stephen Milne replied for the Saints a minute later however, with a spectacular goal running along the boundary line. Ben McKinley gave the West Coast a 7 point lead a minute after that with a banana on the boundary line.

5 minutes of intense football saw the Saints try valiantly to enter the forward 50, but to no avail. Finally, Montagna got a rushed kick out to Justin Koshchitzke who marked and converted directly in front.

Just when it looked like the Saints were going to break away, McKinley goaled again for the Eagles, as did Quentin Lynch to give them the 12 point buffer they currently hold.

Goals (STK): Milne, Koschitzke
Top 3 Disposals (STK): Gram (8), Maguire (8), Dempster (8)
Gone Cold (STK): Armitage (0), Hayes (0), Gilbert (0), Howard (0), Raphael Clarke (0)

Goals (WCE): McKinley 2, Kennedy, Lynch
Top 3 Disposals (WCE): Waters (8), McKinley (7), Cox (7)
Gone Cold (WCE) N/A

Saint Kilda 2.4.16
West Coast Eagles 4.4.28
