FOOTBALL Fifa 12 - console and PC!

nice team, i used to have a premier league team, but sold it to make a Spain-Bundesliga hybrid with IF Raul linking it up in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation.

Here's the South Korean team i was talking about, stats aren't all there... It was originally my brother's team, so I decided that after i gave it back to him I'd re-make it. Saving for an IF Park to play at LM now.

This morning EA have announced a Fifa 12 expansion pack, bringing Euro 2012 to the game. It will cost ?15.99 and include all stadiums, teams and kits from the tournament and new game mode called Expedition.

They've learnt finally that people aren't willing to pay for the same game three times in a single year.

I'll buy it for sure. But I wouldn't have bought it had it been a full price retail game as I just wasted $90 on FIFA Street which is basically just OK for a downloadable game.

Btw, anyone else playing Ultimate Team?

This ^

I can't believe what their charging for FS4. What a rip-off. I understand they've rebooted the series but not to that extent. Its basically just FIFA 12 now but with an 'edge' + more detail when it comes to skills.

Would've preferred arcadey style FIFA Street (i.e. A real FIFA Street 4 not a reboot).

I like that they're finally making the Euro game an expansion, although I'm guessing it forces anyone who just buys it to buy 2012 first, and it is only Euro 2012. No doubt Fifa World Cup 2014 Brazil will be a standalone ?40 game :p

Having got FIFA Street, as a present, it's quite good, but not something I'd have paid ?40 for.

The Euro 2012 DLC sounds good, not sure whether I'll buy it, depends on we get a decent England squad in the game, unlike the one in FIFA 12.

It should be. The World Cup is so much bigger.

While that's much better than the usual standalone rip offs, ?16 is still too expensive in my opinion for something you'll only play during one tournament. The deal would be sweetened a bit if all the content is then available to use during the main Fifa game - all the stadiums, teams and kits.

Thing is, this really is just a custom tournament already set up. At least previous World Cup and Euro games were sort of like the .5 versions. They normally had some tweaking of gameplay that glimpsed at the tweaks that the next FIFA would take.

This is just literally a few new teams and a tournament. Can't even do the qualifiers I don't think.

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to, I thought we were getting all the European teams that were in the qualification stages, I was looking forward to taking San Marino to the final

One thing about this DLC - when EA release these tournament games separately, there's one thing that's great about them - they really go to town on the atmosphere; it's usually at least twice as good as a regular Fifa. Do you guys think we can expect that from a DLC? I have my doubts and I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't be happy paying ?5 for just the kits, teams and stadiums without any extra atmospheric stuff, let alone ?16.

Because their research apparently suggested not enough people played it :rolleyes
