FOOTBALL Fifa 13 PC and Consoles

Need some help.

I'm using a PS3 wired controller (not SONY) on the PC. All the keys and buttons work except for the right analog. I am not able to get it working in the game, yet when I do the calibration test outside the game the Z axis is shown to be working fine (in the Game Controller Panel), and the button for it is working as well.

I think it is due to unsupported controller by FIFA 13. I had same problem of not working right analog buttons with Fifa 12. (could be my gamepad fault too)

If your PC can detect all buttons then try using Xpadder for custom mapping the buttons.

Hmm, well the right analog wasn't mapped on xpadder, so I added that. Still isn't working though.

It can be because your Pc is of another company than the controller .Same company controler will work better and will be better controlled .

Can your Xpadder detect right analog button? or you just added it yourself?

Have you tried using gamepad with others games too. Do they work fine with all keys? If not, then probably the problem is with your gamepad.

To get the Ps3 controller working with the PC you'll probably needed motioninjoy - MotioninJoy | Playstation 3|Xbox 360|Dualshock 3|Sixaxis|Game|Driver|

Obviously X360 controllers work straight away due to Microsoft being the producers of both, whilst they're not too keen to support the PS3/Sony versions. That program should allow you to set up a PS3 controller to a Pc though.

Yep, puddleduck, I did all the motioninjoy, DS3, xpadder crap already for FIFA 12 so the settings remain. However, at the time, I was using a PS3 controller with the detachable USB cord. This one isn't detachable and isn't made by SONY. It's a wired pseudo-PS3 controller.

I have found the solution: Play PES, not FIFA .

And miss out on Fifa 13's amazing looking Career Mode? Not to mention being stuck with PES' boring Master League mode - how many leagues does it have again?

I've just pre ordered it from good ol' Amazon, the only place selling it at a reasonable price, for ?25 or so - minus ?12 from nectar points and other cashback, so Fifa 13 PC will be mine for a piffling ?13.

I don't understand that some people can't see that someone could happen to like a game without there being some kind of ulterior motive...

It's how I feel about CM - it's almost as though they'd read my mind and added pretty much everything they found to the mode. International Management by itself was a massive surprise. Has PES got that?

Don't get me wrong, I think PES 13 is going to be a great game (I've played the demo extensively), but Fifa 13 will just edge it for me. PES is going in the right direction, but for me there will always be the problem of a lack of content - leagues, cups etc. It's not about licences for me - some people buy Fifa because of the licences, I'm not one of them. I buy it because for me it's the best overall football game package. Time was when PES was the best - so back then that's what I bought.

Oh and for those having controller issues on the PC, do yourselves a favour and get an Xbox 360 pad. It will work with any PC game that's around now, as well as any that appear in the future - it's basically the PC's 'unofficial official' gamepad.
