At least they had Germany and then France in the final. Argentina might have Morocco in the final, so I would personally consider this the easier of the two routes.

Croatia who were finalists four years ago with arguably the best midfield in the tournament, the centre back of the tournament and arguably the goalkeeper of the tournament who also knocked out Brazil (one of the tournament favourites) are now easy opposition?
Germany in 2006 were a side rebuilding and it was a surprise that they even reached the semis despite accounting for the host factor and France in 2006 were a pure one man show (like Germany in 2002) despite some of the star names they had.
Besides all of that I think you can only beat what you’re given and Argentina have certainly done that when other teams have failed to do so.
Probably my favourite moment from this game was Messi turning the centre back of the tournament till now in Gvradiol inside out after an excellent dribble and then laying on a sumptuous assist for Alvarez all so casually. What a freak of a player that he’s still capable of such magic at this age. I think they need di Maria in the finals on the pitch, he’s a quality player and could cause some real trouble against either Theo (who got burnt by Saka) or the Moroccan backup left back.

Mbappe as striker could be key actually now that Giroud's gone. It's a shame that he doesn't want to play there at club level as he's so good there and could be a revolutionary player there achieving what R9 promised to do instead of trying to just mimic what the other Ronaldo already has well established over the last couple of decades.
