so it swith cricket 05... do we need any special patches or tweaks so all the games are compatible......lucky i kept 05 on the pc.....but looking forward to it woohooooo. go the all blacks......

Rules

The members are only required to do the batting part.The matches shall be of 20 overs.The game shall not include members bowling at the opposition.

1. Teams : As far as the teams are concerned,members must announce thier teams in the next 3 days.We shall be using this roster.
If any member has made a new roster which contaisn all new players,it can be posted here.


2. Toss : This is slightly tricky though.Here's how it will proceed.
The toss winner shall be announced by me beofre the start.
E,g- pakistan v west indies
Toss- pakistan
User of pakistan must announce whether he wants to bat first or bat second.If pak decides to bat first ,then pakistan user must start the game.
If pak wants to bat second,user of west indies must start the game.

3. After one team finishes his innings,the save game must be posted on planetcricket in the thread.The other user should download it and start playing.

4. Presentation :
Each completed innings shall be considered valid if and only if it posts the following screenshots.
a. scorecard
b. batting details
c. bowling details
d.members may post other screens like a batsman's hundred only if they want to.

5. Valid matches
Each user would be given a minimum of two days to complete his innings.So,ideally a match should get over within 4 days.If the user fails to post the save game or fails to post the final result,that match shall be deemed to be forfeited.

ok lets say i play aust.......and aust bat first...they hit 180..i can bat for ten overs and then if not going well start over until i better there score.....not saying thats what i would do but i am sure it would cross peoples minds, i am honest and wouldnt do that as i want to be as fair and have as much fun as possible however what can we do to combat this,..

Hmm,well thats what happened during the last tournament.
And i'm really sorry to say that there is nothing we can do to combat it except set in a time-limti for posting the game.

Well some people didn't shell out another ?25-30 quid to EA for 07 and kept their money in their pockets by just carrying on playing Cricket 2005.

I think the Group stages can be done without the patches.
The rest we will have to use the patches.

we can start as soon as we get the squads.. For that, i think it wud be better if the title of thread includes, " Post the Squad,2 days Left " something like that.


And regarding the user of India, zub2005 should be asked first ( may be thru pm ) if he has CKT05 to play. If not, next active user who requested India should be given the chance I guess.

Well guys i have another problem what if someone uses ai patches like mad hitter or any other how will you ever come to know?
Then again what if someone uses mch editor. He could easily win every match.
Something must be done about this problem !!!!!
