A very strong month, after losing to Ascoli, despite being up 2-0. From then on, we learnt not to give away leads as we took a respectable draw at home to Lecce before winning 4 straight as our 4-2-2-2 tactic seems to be working wonders. Our dominating victory over Grosseto has really showed how far the team has come, having 25 shots to 2, 11 of which were on target and 68% possession, the opposition lucky to only concede 4.

It was a very shaky couple of months. We drew 3 matches at home in a row while taking a couple of wins away, losing our other and having only taken 9 points from 6 games, we were going to struggle to challenge the leaders. Other results started to go our way and a comfortable win away to Cittadella and then a 90th minute goal against Pro Vercelli put us just 3 points below Cesena in 2nd. We are missing our star striker, Noselli, who will miss our next match against Empoli, although the lucky 20 day break meant he has only missed one match so far and will only miss one more most likely, as he will make a likely return against Juve Stabia. To have lost him for the match against Empoli is a big blow though.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I'm tempted to take a shot at Crystal Palace should the job become available but I'd likely be turned down. I think I'll just see how things go and then make a decision. I just don't think it's really worth chasing the European Champions League just yet though so I'm hoping that I can get some reputation within Italy and then maybe make a trip to the top league in Chile or South Africa, maybe even Australia.

We continued on our good run to win another 4, making it 6 wins in a row, putting us in first, before going into the huge part of our season, against the two title challengers in consecutive games. Cesena away from home was too much for us as we went down 2-1 before Varese's lack of finishing touch cost them dearly as we stunned the league leaders 3-0. My decision on what to do was made up when our chairman allowed star midfielder, Francesco Magnanelli to leave the club for 1.7m, with 975k of that coming over 12 months. Losing our key player in a vital part of the season has just cost us as we were uninspiring against lowly Virtus Lanciano only just getting over the line, coming from behind before a very poor draw against Ascoli, where we looked very unimpressive in attack.
I've decided that I will play the season out to try and gain promotion but I will most likely be leaving after this season despite signing Barcelona fullback, Martin Montoya on a free transfer. Currently in the league, we lead Varese by 3 points, who in turn lead Cesena by 2 points. So it's currently a 3 way battle for the title. Should be a very interesting end to the season.

Ben, pretty sure the 'games' folder is in the same location as the 'graphics' folder, like Hedger said.
Gonna crack on with Renhe today. Had a two month break in the CSL, possibly explaining my ridiculous sacking. Best thing is, the former Renhe boss is now at Tianjin. Have a tough first game against Shandong who sit in 2nd, and a serious lack of finances is a big problem. Been attempting to sell our best player who would bring the wage salary back down but, despite interest from AEK, there have been no offers.

Yeah, and not a bad season considering I haven't bought a single player apart from our 16 year old defender who's performed reasonably actually. Definitely gonna take a great effort in the last 14 games without our star central midfielder, and means Carl Valeri will have to step up big time to keep our position on top of the ladder.

It was a difficult month for us but it was also tough for the title challengers as well, as Varese failed to win their last 4 matches, only taking 2 points from those, although Cesena have brought themselves back into contention with 10 points in their last 5 matches. Padova meanwhile have promoted themselves as serious promotion contenders, having gone unbeaten in their last 9 matches, with 7 wins.
We should have beaten Lecce after being 3-1 up before they pulled back to draw level, before we scored again only to be denied by a stoppage time Corvia goal despite Lecce being down to 10 men. We performed poorly against Livorno. We hit back strongly with a dominant win over Spezia, Nicolas Ioannou finally getting his first career goal and also made it two in one game. Troianiello also had a game to remember as he assisted all 5 goals. We backed that up with a disappointing loss to Modena before finding our feet again as Catellaini and Valeri added goals in a 2-0 victory away to Grosseto.

It was a disgraceful month. I've never seen football played as badly. We were dominant in our 5-0 victory but everything since then, we'd rather forget. We were lucky to only concede 6 against Brescia and both our goals came in the second half. We were lucky to only lose 3-1 against Padova and while Verona didn't step over us with ease, our finishing touch was lacking with not a single shot on target and the absence of Carl Valeri cost us dearly. But the top 4 can't be separated at the moment with only a point in the title race. It's going to be an unbelievably tight run to the end and we need to hit back very quickly.

Just turned down a new 3 year deal at the club. It was an extra 20k per year but I'm leaving Italy at the end of the season regardless.

In the end, we took out the Serie B title. Four consecutive wins did the job as we won the title with 2 games to spare. We relaxed against Pro Vercelli and paid the price as we gave up a 2 goal lead to go down 4-2 before we ended our season in style, Carl Valeri and Gaetano Masucci putting in stunning goals to make it a memorable finish.
Following our final match against Empoli, I was offered the role of Fiji U23 side on the 27th May, as I decided to apply for the job, for a job during the summer, with the Olympic Games coming up.
I quit my post with Sassuolo on the 14th June
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing next but I'll see how everything goes.

After waiting a couple of months, and assessing the jobs available, I decided to take a shot with Chilean side, Everton (CHI). The team aren't performing as well as they should be and hopefully we can push for a playoff spot in the opening stage with 4 matches to go in the season, but only 2 points off a playoff position.
My salary is pretty abysmal at 105k p/a but at least I can get a shot at top league football. I've signed a 3 year contract so I'll probably spend the next 2 seasons at the club before deciding whether to move on or stay.
Not quite sure how the system works but oh well. Hopefully can find a way to qualify for the continental competitions.
Decided that I would add the Argentinian top league (from 15.7.2013) so might even get a move on to Argentina to take a better shot at the South American competition.
