Actually nevermind. i got it done. the manual isn't very helpful. It only said to follow onscreen instructions. I ended up having to open the E: drive disk and click setup.exe but then once i did it again through the other method of installing, it said there was an error and i tried it 4 times, then i looked through my start menu > all programs but it wasn't in there. i then tried installing it a few more times, still didn't show then looked through program files through desktop > computer > OS (C

Good to hear. What are your first impressions of it then? Always good to see what new players of the game think when you're someone who's played it for a few years.

well it looks a bit more confusing to what CM08 looks like. I've been doing my CM story so i haven't played it too much but it looks good. it looks way better than CM08 though. i got it half price at EB Games for midyear sale so i got it for $45 instead of $90.

Whats the latest FM game? 09 or 10? Probably going to get it this year, havent had it since '07. Has it improved much?

09 is the latest. They have 3d gfx now as well as more in-depth interviews. There are other features but I dunno, 08 is still gun. I haven't even thought about getting 09 because I can just update the database of 08.

Good forum, got some databases. sortitoutsi still have them I think. Not sure on 07 though. You should grab 08, it should be cheap.

FM09 is great, and although the graphics aren't the best they are still pretty decent and really add something to an already great game. The only problem I have with 09 is the slowness. Even whilst running just 1 league it is so slow if you have any other programmes running.
FM10 will hopefully be even better and definitely worth a buy if your last game was 07.

FM08: Arsenal manager after a stint at Man U, year 2011, Champions League Semi-Final Tie.
At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal and Juve played out an epic, 5-4 was the final score.
Back to Della Alpi in Turin, where Juve were 3-0 up at half time, tie over. But Arsenal came back, and RVP scores on 90+1 minutes to take us to the final.
I actually jumped up when he scored, because it's been a crap season all told.

Looks like FM2010 could be the real deal! It does look really good, apparently in this version you can give a message to the sub as he is about to go on!
