Ok, here we go. Starting a new save with Man Utd. Just loaded English leagues (Down to npower League 2), Brazil (Top division), Portugal (Top division), Russia (Top Division) and Spain (Liga Adelante).

Probably going to make a few transfers. Will try and get in Phil Jones and probably de Gea (or Akinfeev) and maybe even Young and then try and bring in a central midfielder or two and get rid of a few uneeded players.

You sure have started quite a few new games recently

What, my FC Halifax and Man Utd save. I stopped my Queen's Park save after I realised you can't become semi-professional.

I think I have a great tactic though, so far this season in the Premier League.

Man City (A) - 2-0 (Vidic, Evans)
Newcastle (H) - 5-0 (Valencia, Evans, Nani[2], Rafael)
Birmingham (A) - 2-0 (Hernandez, Nani)
Blackpool (H) - 4-0 (Nani, Berbatov, Vidic, Hernandez)
West Ham (A) - 3-0 (Green o.g., De Rossi[2])

And in my only Champions League game, I beat Schalke 3-1 with a double for Nani and one for Berbatov.

And Rooney has been ████ this season, yet to score a goal in 7 games in all competitions and the only goals he's scored this season was a hattrick in one match for England

I just hammered Wigan 6-0 away from home And nobody scored more than 1 goal Hernandez, Vidic, Berbatov, Nani and Bebe scored and then Carrick scored the final goal from the penalty spot.

David De Gea must be the best keeper in the world. 10 league matches, 10 clean sheets, 1 cup match, 1 clean sheet. (I'm playing VDS in Champions League). So he's only conceded goals in the pre-season friendlies. His average rating in the is 7.4 as well.

And don't you love Wayne Rooney, 5 international goals in 4 games and no club goals in 13 matches (7 starts, 6 off bench) :/ Lucky Hernandez and Berbatov are scoring goals. Both have 6, as well as Nani.

Finally had my first draw and it was a 1-1 draw with Birmingham at home where I had 33 shots to their 5 (15 on target to 2). So I have 21 wins and a draw so far this season in the league, 60 goals and only conceded 4 (1 to Arsenal, 1 to Birmingham, 1 to Bolton and 1 to Tottenham). Also won my Champions League group and playing Shakhtar in the 1st Knockout Round.

My best results this season:

Liverpool (H) - 3-0 (Hernandez[2], Berbatov)
Wigan (A) - 6-0 (Hernandez, Vidic, Berbatov, Nani, Bebe, Carrick)
Arsenal (H) - 4-1 (Fletcher, Hernandez[3])
Everton (H) - 3-0 (Rooney[2], Hernandez) - Only cause it's only 2 of 3 goals Rooney has scored in the league this season
Man City (H) - 4-0 (Bebe[2], Berbatov, Rooney)

Anyway, De Gea took the Goalkeeper of the Year Award, having only conceded 3 goals in 20 league games at the time. I've won Manager of the Month each month, not surprisingly. Daniele De Rossi and Nemanja Vidic have 1 Player of the Month award a piece, De Gea has come runner up once and Hernandez has come third placed twice and Berbatov once. Rafael has won the Young Player of the Month twice, come runner up once and third placed once and David De Gea has managed to come runner up once and third placed three times.

Going to end the season with United. Have won the League Cup, in the semis of FA Cup, the quarters of CL and currently 2nd in PL. But the Spurs are in front of me, a 4 point difference and they have been unbeaten for 30 games!

I need the Spurs to lose against Arsenal and Liverpool, and I need to win my matches to win the PL.

For me, injuries hit me hard as I first lost Rooney in October for a month, after that when Wayne was close to a comeback, Aguero got injured for 3 months, and to top it all Hernandez was out for 4 months. Once again Rooney got injured inbetween, but Berbatov saved me and even Owen was awesome. Had they not scored, I would've gone out of the CL spots itself!

Injuries have been preventing me from unleashing my powerful side completely.

Now who should I buy as a replacement for Scholes? Thought of Sahin but he went to Zenit.

Oh man, you seem to have a great record at United.

I guess Vidic and Ferdinand would've scored more goals in my save than most of my midfielders, except Nani.

Now who should I buy as a replacement for Scholes?

lol, Paul Scholes isn't even my 4th choice centre midfielder. I have De Rossi and Fletcher as my two central midfielders with Carrick and Anderson as my two main backups. I'd suggest going for someone like De Rossi, he is a very good all-round, consistent player, just look at the stats overview thing and you'll find that out. I've been playing him as a Deep Lying Playmaker and he's been awesome. Otherwise, you could go for someone like Eden Hazard or Luka Modric if you have the funds. (Cost me 34M iirc but he rejected the contract cause I didn't pay him enough ) Yann M'Vila and Steven Jovetic (Especially if you're looking for an attacking mid) would also be good signings but could take between 12-15M to sign.

And yeah, if you're wondering how I'm playing, these are my tactics:

Everything else default for Control tactic.

Then my lineup:

GK: David De Gea (Goalkeeper - Defend)

DR: Rafael (Full Back - Automatic)
DC: Rio Ferdinand/Jonny Evans (Central Defender - Cover)
DC: Nemanja Vidic (Central Defender - Stopper)
DL: Patrice Evra (Full Back - Automatic)

Central Defender Defend, Cover and Stopper need the same attributes except Stopper needs Aggression and Bravery as they have to be aggressive and brave to go into challenges cause it can leave a hole in the defence if they don't. Cover needs anticipation and acceleration so they know when they have to drop back and can quickly get back to cover for the partner in defence. Vidic has 19 bravery and 18 aggression making him an excellent choice as a stopper while Ferdinand has 18 anticipation and 15 acceleration and Evans 16 anticipation and 15 acceleration (up from 14) making them good choices as cover defenders. Smalling could do a good job as a stopper if you train him like that as his skills suit stopper rather than cover so if you want to develop him to replace Vidic, that's how I would do it. I've signed Mexes on a free transfer though so he'll be good backup for Vidic as a stopper (18 heading, 17 tackling, 16 marking, 16 positioning, 18 anticipation and 17 bravery) - key attributes for a defender - stopper.

MC: Darren Fletcher (Central Midfielder Support)

AMR: Antonio Valencia (Inside Forward Attack)
AML: Nani (Inside Forward Attack)

Valencia and Nani work a lot better as inside forwards, both are good dribblers and have good pace and acceleration, have flair and their finishing isn't too bad. Both Rooney and Hernandez aren't overly tall making it hard to get much out of the wingers crossing the ball, but Hernandez is a good head so the occassional crosses could bring some goals in the air for Hernandez.

ST: Javier Hernandez (Advanced Forward Attack)

Rooney has been horrible this season. Hernandez is quick, good off the ball and is a good finisher, making him a better option as an Advanced Forward and as he has a PPM of Likes to try to beat the offside trap (On patch 11.3), he can get in behind the defence a lot and score. Rooney has good all-round skills to be a deep lying forward although it wastes his 16 finishing a bit. Normally I play Hernandez and Berbatov in the two roles but if I play Berbatov and Rooney, I will normally have Rooney as my advanced forward.

Nani scored 4 and added an assist for a match rating of 9.9. Hernandez scored a double coming off the bench, and Rooney was our lowest rated player with 7.4

Javier Hernandez is gun. He scored a hattrick against Arsenal in our home match. Now he scores a double as we beat Arsenal 3-1 away from home. He has 22 goals this season, tied with Fernando Torres (who has scored 7 goals in the last 4 games )

I hate Kuszczak. He bloody requests a transfer, I offer him for clubs for 2M (Value 2.9M), Barcelona bid that much and now he's saying that if I want him to move to Barcelona, I'll have to pay him 195,000 pa until the end of next season. But he'll get angry that I won't let him leave if I do so I'll pay that much, even if I am losing 10M pounds a month.

Finished the season. Lost the FA Cup semis to Spurs, the PL to Spurs aswell. We should have won versus Everton. Had we won, we would've been the champions.

Good to see that I won the Champions league for the second time in my FM11 playing. It was versus Arsenal, 2-2 after full-time. Then Rooney slotted the winner in extra time. Now I'm a favoured personnal at the club with Rooney too.

Rooney was the top scorer in the season, bagging 31 goals in all competitions(inlcuding internationals I think.)

How come you haven't played Hernandez at all, or has he just not scored any goals?

And I beat Arsenal in the Champions League semi final and I'm playing Real Madrid in the final after they beat Barcelona in the semis. I've already won the league, and had done with 7 matches remaining. Won every PL game this season except for the 1-1 draw with Birmingham at home and a 0-0 draw with Liverpool away from home.
