Another thought, anyone else finding it hard to get the right team talk options? Quite a handful of my players are getting 'angry' by what I say though I am praising them after a good performance.

I;ve found it quite simply so far. I've tried to wind them up by acting angry and I've only ended up making them gain focus. I did annoy someone thought.

A bad thing starting with Chelsea for me in FM12 is that they have Fernando Torres!

Bah! I need a defensive-minded centre mid' who has a good passing range for my Chelsea save on the FM12 demo.

Only got 14 million, I already have Ramires and Oriel Romeu injured and Obi Mikel is my only option at the moment + he is getting bogged down tired at the moment. Any suggestions in that price range?

Can't remember too much about the passing range and their price but you could take a look at Javi Martinez(Athletic Bilbao) or Kwadwo Asamoah(Udinese).

Really? Fernando Torres is in great form for me. Finished off a great pre-season with him hitting 9 goals I think. Mind you he is playing off Mata/Anelka whilst Drogba is my target-man.

I actually just reduced my wage budget and fell into the demands of Everton + sold Kalou and got Fellaini for 23 million. Though, now I'm on the lookout for an AMR since Anelka isn't resigning, gotta' love FM huh.

Ah just seen you signed Fellaini. What do you need an AMR for when you have Sturridge and Mata?

I play Mata down the left wing (AML) and Sturridge as my backup striker to Torres. Really I only have Anelka going down the right flank, I just wish Yossi wasn't on loan since best player on FM11 when I played him there.

Gah! I want the game to come out already.

Ironically i played against chelsea as city (no glory hunting, i'm a united fan, but love city's recent squad depth) after the real Man Utd vs Chelsea match and it looked like FM had a sense of humor about torres' current form that game. He got 16 odd shots and all past his markers and he went off target. I have the highlights too. Quite funny.

ended as 2 - 2. Currently at the top of the table after 12 games but i gotta love my ipswich save. Michael Chopra qualified for India after netting goal/2 games avg. xD some reprieve for him in FM because he couldn't qualify in real life, how good would that be if he did. :\

Yeah but that's in FM11. Yet to try out FM12 actually. And IF I do buy Rossi in FM12 with Chelsea, it will probably give me a headache. Too many strikers and I think if I try to sell Drogba and/or Anelka, it's going to trigger an unhappy chain reaction within the team.
