Awards time:

Frank Lampard wins Footballer Of The Year and thanks me for it . Drogba came third in English Players' Player of The Year. Aguero wins Players' Young Player Of The Year. Lampard, Terry and Rafinha were in the Team of The Year .

Finished the season in 1st place having won 27, drawn 3 and lost 8. Scored 70 and only conceeded 34! Lampard had the highest average rating of any player in the League.

Now for the FA Cup final and Champions League final .

This is my team currently November 1st 2010.

Guiseppe Rossi is a brilliant forward and to be truthfully honest we do struggle slightly without him. James Vaughan would normally partner him but he's injured at the moment.
First season finished 10th which was quite poor, second season I finished 5th only 2 points behind an elusive Champions League spot. This seasons started off well but I need a good defensive midfielder any suggestions?

Just won the FA Cup. Beat Aston Villa 5-2. Now don't let the scoreline fool you, they put up one hell of a fight in the first half. Marcelo took the lead for us straight away but about 20 mins later Young equalises with a cracker. Lamps scores a curler from 25 yards to make it 2-1. Larsson scores a screamer to equalise. Then at the stroke of half time, Marcelo does it again! Second half started terribly, John Terry stretchered off :. Better not be serious. Then Aguero turns and scores from outside the box, awesome goal. And finally Ballack scores a cracker to seal the deal .

Who's Osvaldo any good? What about Hanus?

Osvaldo is quite good youngish Italian forward/winger probably wouldn't be good enough for the top 4 in the premiership but for Villa is more than a good enough player to be my second striker and back winger for both left and right.

Hanus is a pretty good regen I picked up on the cheap in the first season who's developing nicely into a Scholes-esque player scores his fair share from long distance aswell.

Got Rossi after first season for 19 million scored 34 goals last season and picked up 10 MOTMs.

Looking to buy either Zapater, Sunny or Veloso, specifically Veloso he has great stats.

Veloso's stats may be more impressive, but Zapater is probably the better overall player I'd say. Veloso doesn't tend to be particularly consistent, whereas Zapater's an FM god, he's got everything.

Ignacio Camacho might be worth a look as well (Y).

Just lost to Arsenal 3-2 . They took the lead with Adebayor and owned the first half. I thought my half time team talk was enough to turn it around. Drogba scored twice to turn it around. But VP scored to equalise. Denilson made it 3-2 with 5 minutes left . I wasn't expecting to win though, I'm happy with getting to the final but the board are still pissed off, the gits.

Had a look at Kehl and I could approach to sign him. Don't even have to compensate Dortmund . Is he good enough to start for me Dan or is he someone who's a good back up for a team like mine?

I'd say he'd probably be more of a back-up, he's a very good player though, definitely worth getting in for free. Might as well sign him tbh.

Guilherme just made his Premier League debut. Scored a hat-trick . What made it all the bit sweeter was the opposition, a hat-trick against Spurs =D. He's already repaid his £32million price tag for me.

£20.5 mil for Dos Santos, too much? I'm not totally sure. I heard he can be class.

On FM 2007 I'd have said go for it. But on 08 definitely not. He was distinctly average in my Spurs save. He did alright, but he's not good enough to form a title chase. I wouldn't buy him personally. See what your scouts say though (Y).
