Liverpool played well.....they deserve to go through.

If we had Duff and Robben from the start,then maybe things would've been different.

And we were forced to play 2 Centre Backs at RB and LB....because Bridge and Ferreira were injured.

But I'm not taking anything away from Liverpool..they themselves had many injuries and they didn't have Xabi Alonso....well done to them.

Its disappointing to lose in the semi's 2 times in a row like that.

I actually saw the entire second half when I got back from my cricket, and was listening to it on the radio on the way!

A great performance from Liverpool sends them to Istanbul when they beat the Premiership champions! Why can't they do that in the league?

i dont think that goal should be given instead they must gave a penelty. stupid thing shown by linesman. and what the hell is wrong with goodjohnson he missed the goal in the last second of stopagetime i seen him kicking that type of bowl in net in english premiereship. i think he must be feeling pressure.
but than all credits goes to liverpool after getting a goal in 4 min they definetly defend well and cant give lampard a chance to hit 2 goals.

Chelsea never really deserved to win. They were intimidated by the Kop and there were some poor performances all over the field.

I don't think they were intimidated to be honest, they just couldn't create any chances, mainly due to Carragher being magnificent.
I think Dudek had 1 save to make in 180 mins of football, so despite Chelsea have possession for long periods of the game, they cannot complain.

Drogba is worth nothing like 28 million (?), and Robben was dreadful - he couldn't cross, make a pass, in fact do anything to alter the game.

And I think Chelsea would have preferred the goal being given as opposed to being down to 10 men and a penalty. With 10 men, whether 0-0 or 1-0 they would have found it tough.
Chelsea fans should console themselves with a double. Liverpool fans can just keep pinching themselves and hope the dream continues for one more game. Remember Gerrard himself said at the last 16 stage that Liverpool had no realistic chance of winning the Champ League, so he must be dreaming too !
